Awesome tent, great value, great design
I had been researching RTTs for a while when I cam across the ArcWonder RTT. I was impressed with the specifications and features (cargo bars, solar panel, integrated rain fly, shoe bags, ladder, all aluminum construction). With all of the features plus including the cost of the included cargo bars and solar panel (with included controller) it is actually one of the cheapest RTTs of it's feature set on Amazon. Such a great value versus price! Based on all those details I decided to finally order a RTT and I have not been disappointed. The RTT was shipped VERY fast and well protected in a substantial crate. I had to fabricate connection hardware due to the cargo bed rack on my truck being more substantial than most racks (was of larger dimensions than the connection hardware that comes with the tent: not the manufacturer's fault), but the tent was still very easy to install (lifting still requires 2 people). For how well built it is the tent is still very lightweight and at only 7 inches thick when closed it is such a low profile (looks way better than most RTTs and WAY less wind resistance at higher speeds). Overall the size is no larger than it needs to be to serve as a tent with enough sleeping space for two average sized people. The cargo bars and solar panel were super easy to install. The power provided by the solar panel easily charged my battery setup quickly (and there is actually plenty of remaining mounting space on top of the tent for an additional solar panel or cargo bars, if you choose). The tent is very comfortable (although the sleeping pad is a bit thin due to the slim nature of the closed tent), but I use an extra memory foam mattress (due much more to my body being over half a century in age than the comfort of the included sleeping pad ;) ). I've used the tent a couple times now and have zero issues opening or closing it (just be patient and close it slowly and make sure the flaps and rain fly are fully inside tent: this isn't a flaw with the design, but an good example of how excellent the build quality is and how tight the tolerances are in its construction). The tent has been through several intense rainstorms at highway speeds as well as deployed for camping in heavy rain. No water intrusion to speak of either closed or when deployed. And if you are an experienced camper you will know that you will get some few droplets of water here and there when the wind whips up or if you come into the tent with wet clothes. Not sure if the material used for the tent is antimicrobial/antifungal, but no sign of mold yet anywhere in the tent. VERY quick and easy deployment and stowage. Overall: -HIGHLY functional -VERY high build quality -EXCEPTIONAL value of included accessories -OUTSTANDING value overall I am VERY pleased with the purchase and capability of the tent. It certainly beats the stuffings out of a traditional tent, getting to the campground/site late, after dark and trying to fumble around and set up (often in the rain).

RTT REVIEW
Solid RTT for the price. I’ve used it for two trips so far and here is what I like and what could be improved: Pros: - Solidly made. Does not feel cheap. - Easy assembly, ships in a solid box, and easy setup once it is on the roof. - Easily broke down. - Very dark inside, even in the morning you can’t see the sun. Areas for improvement: - Add a thicker/ better mattress, maybe a 3” mattress and a condensation mat underneath. - Consider adding a port hole to connect a 3” heater/AC hose for easy all-weather use. Overall, the RTT is a great tent and well made. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Best roof tent for the price when factoring solar panel
Good quality roof tent. Camped in heavy rain with no water intrusion. There is an additional vent over the rear/main entrance that is not shown in product photos, this would be good to know if anyone plans to use propane or butane heater in tent. I like that ladder can be positioned at any entrance. The solar panel is ok. It charges my bluetti 700w power station throughout the day but I do not get the advertised 218 watt output even in optimal sunlight. You’ll need an additional pad for the mattress as it is not that comfortable to sleep on. Don’t get one too thick or it won’t close. I use an inflatable camp pad that I do not store inside tent when closed. I can’t even store pillows in tent but I don’t mind. I prefer to have a slimmer tent profile when in closed position The lights stopped working about 3 months after purchase. The seller was very responsive in sending me replacement lights. One thing to note is there is only 1 light setting which I love. I just need to quickly turn on and off the lights without cycling through several colors of lights before going into off setting. Several storage pockets on both sides of interior tent as well as ceiling making it easy to stay organized Would be nice if the tent had a 3” diesel heater port but I can’t complain because the price is good The ladder does not have angled steps so going up and down barefoot is somewhat uncomfortable. The built in rain fly is more important than you would think. Camping in heavy rain makes it pleasant to have the doors open without water intrusion. During daylight hours , it’s pitch black in tent when all windows and vents are closed. Makes it nice to sleep in

Great hardtop pop up tent!!!
LOVE this overhead hardtop pop up tent. The material is high quality inside and outside of the tent. It is very easy to set up and probably takes 5 minutes. We added a memory foam topper for extra comfort. The ladder can be set up for either side or the back of the tent. You just need a rack to place the tent on. It fits my husband (he is 6ft) and me comfortably but it might be too short for a taller person to lay straight. We appreciated the storage pouches to help organize things.

Good price for a decent tent
Fast shipping, the box it shipped in was very nice and didn’t damage the tent. The durability of the material used is great and the mattress is nice and soft. Well worth the money

Rooftop, hard shell tent.
Went on a 5 day trip. It was very easy to set up and take down. It was cold out, so quite a bit of condensation, but the condensation did dry out fairly quick. You're able to keep your betting inside when you close it.

Can’t beat it!
For the price you can’t get better! Plenty of room inside with a strong body and wonderful design. We have been in some fairly bad rain storms and never had a leak! Packs easy and quickly and very very well made

Good for the price especially for the solar and rack
So far so good, only four complains. Install of rain fly pole, not as easy as displayed on video, takes a lot of bending and strength, no barrel locks have to use pad locks, and pretty hard to close. I think I have to put some weight on the roof rails. Definitely have to add an air mattress for comfort.
