This was an excellent backstory on one of the auxiliary characters in the Trident Security series. Rounded out things nicely.

Nice short look into Jordyn's past and her introduction to Carter. Looking forward to reading more about the two of them.

I was stoked to find more about her past and how she ended up working with Carter!I’m not going to go into the story because it’s quite compact but jam packed with the awesome writing of Ms Cole, but if you love the trident series, you’ll definitely want to check this one out!

So glad we finally got Jordyn’s story! Since she was introduced in the Trident series, we have only gotten buts of Jordyn’s backstory. Now we get the whole story! Starting with her parent’s death and ending with her beginning her life with Deimos. Can’t wait to see whats in store for her in the future!

Loved getting the back story on Jordyn and how some of the players fit in and to see the beginning of het and T. Carter

A quick introduction. With more detail into Jordyn Alvarez. We had met her briefly in a previous Trident Security story. This story gives us a more detailed back story on this little thief turned spy.3.5/5 stats

I’ve read all of Samantha A Cole’s book and loved them all. This is a special treat to find out about Jordyn’s life leading up to her meeting Carter. I see a rerereread of Absolving His Sins in my future!

I love the Trident characters and this book was another great suspense story. It was a quick read and I didn’t want it to end. I gave it 4 stars because I found several typos or editing issues, but hey, no one is perfect and the story was great!

So good to read about Jordyn's early life and how she met Carter. Think I'm going to have to re-read the entire series again as it's so good ☺

Loved this book as it gave more information on Jordan before Carter. Once again Samantha A Cole has written an excellent story. Love this author.

Love this author and the series but in all honesty think if I’d paid for this book would have felt short changed. Most of the relevant information was in her and Carter’s and this could have been a prelude chapter. Seems a common theme now for authors to put out very short reads to prelude or short novellas to make a complete book which I’m not a fan of.
