Magnesium Glycinate 400mg, Chelated Bisglycinate for Muscle Relaxation

Really happy I found & started this product. I’ve been struggling badly with sleep in pregnancy & this has helped me so much with staying asleep. I noticed a difference within a few days - so thankful I started it as I was at breaking point my sleep was so horrific. Couldn’t recommend it enough. (If pregnant speak to midwife/gp first to check it’s okay)

These have drastically improved my sleep, the frequency at which I dream has increased which is quite exciting too. I wake up feeling more refreshed and ready to tackle the day. Have well and truly added one of these tablets to my bedtime routine.

So as I sit here at 3am with the taste of one of the aniseed-flavoured antacid liquids on my lips I felt these capsules needed a review before I return them. Firstly they are only 72mg of elemental Magnesium - yes that's stated on the package but not explained - if you want to achieve the RDA you'll need to take 4 a day (for a man). Next is the rather unpleasant taste in my mouth that started about an hour after taking the first 2 capsules (1 hour before bedtime, with food). Almost metallic, slightly foosty - just an unpleasant smell/taste in the back of my throat. Finally as the start of this review hinted at, the raging reflux that woke me up and that I'm currently suffering 5hrs after taking them. I even slept slightly propped-up but to no avail. I guess you could suggest it's a coincidence but I will definitely not be trying them again to find out, they are going back. I'm off to go find a more trusted brand with a decent dose and preparation.

Good quality and authentic produc

This is hands down my favorite magnesium glycinate. I’ve tried a few different brands, and this one just works the best for me. Easy to chew, tastes great. I take these for leg cramps. It works really well.

Ich nehme das Magnesiumglycinat jeden Abend etwa 30–60 Minuten vor dem Schlafengehen ein und bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Kapseln lassen sich gut schlucken und sind für mich eine sinnvolle Ergänzung im Alltag. Ich vertrage das Produkt gut und werde es auch weiterhin verwenden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt ebenfalls. Empfehlenswert für alle, die Magnesiumglycinat in ihre tägliche Routine aufnehmen möchten.
