Piscifun Onyx Braided Fishing Line, Abrasion Resistant, 6-150lb

I've been very happy with this fishing line so far. It spooled onto my rod smoothly without any issues and has performed well on several fishing trips. The line casts nicely, holds up well, and has shown good strength for its rating. I've used it to catch multiple largemouth bass in the 1–2 lb range as well as various panfish, and it handled all of them without any problems. I haven't experienced any unexpected break-offs or issues with knot strength. Overall, this is a reliable fishing line that performs exactly as expected. For the price and quality, I would definitely purchase it again and would recommend it to other anglers.

Hello Anglers, I was asked by Cathy, a owner of Piscifun if I would provide a honest review and my opinion of the product that I purchased. I purchased the Piscifun 80lb braid in black. From the start I was a little on the fence about trying a new brand that was completely unfamiliar to me. I have in the past been a loyal customer to a brand that is very familiar to most braided line fisherman. I'm not sure if I can post the name so I'll let you fill in the blanks and most should be able to figure it out. The name is P-W-R-P-O. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about that product. In the beginning I was a little concerned about the quality of the Piscifun line due to the fact it seemed it was not color fast because it turned my fingers black when I spooled my reel. I thought for sure it would wash out as soon as I put it in the water and stain everything black while I was fishing. I was pleasantly surprised that didn't happen although, the line did eventually end up a dark grey rather than true black. I put a lot of faith in this Piscifun line trying it for the first time considering it's first test was under tournament conditions at a local Halibut derby this past weekend 5/25-5/26 2016. I was bouncing 3lb cannon ball weights with spreader bar and large herring with squid hoochie's. Didn't win 1st place but did win 2nd place with a 69.7lb Pacific Halibut for a $2500.00 prize. The Piscifun line performed beautifully with absolutely no problems. All the knots held great with no slippage and I had no break offs or any line failure at all. I plan to try more of their lines on all my salmon rods this summer and into the fall here in the NW. I would recommend Piscifun braided line to anyone that has or may be considering trying something new. I was not given anything, products, money or otherwise for this review just merely asked for an honest opinion and I'm in no way affiliated with the Piscifun company. I'm just a pleased customer. I found this to be quality fishing line. Very thin and transparent, very strong. Hard to focus on the line to tie knots with these 70-year-old eyes! :) Recommended!

The line is very thin compared to many other braided line I’ve used. I does tend to be more susceptible to wind knots even when casting with a 5 kt. wind.

Feels a lot better than the one i used to use. More sturdy. Not super thick and rolls back nicely.

Good strength and casts smoothly. Color holds pretty well. I've used 20+ braids over the years and this is the one I rely on. Out performs line that costs twice as much, and comes in a 25lb option where most braided lines do not. Beware of the black braid, as it will stain your thumb if you're using a baitcaster.
