Outstanding
I've purchased this item 3 times (qty.50, "emergency food") over 5 yrs.. they dissolve easily, and the flavors are 9 out of 10. I'll give my son one out of the blue, and he loves them. I'll continue to order these little Gems!

Great product
It was for a school project and the kids LOVED them!

These are awful.
But, I knew that going on. I bought these to introduce my daughter to them. These freeze dried lies (astronauts never took these with them into space) are not delicious, the texture is off-putting, and they crumble into bits when you try to eat them. That being said, if you've never had this, you should try it. It was invented for astronauts to use, it's interesting, and your tastes are very likely different than mine (although, that doesn't mean you'll like these). Also, brings me back to my childhood and some gift shop from some museum or aeronautics museum, or maybe the Kennedy Space Center, or someplace that sold these in the 80s ... Disney world? Who knows. Ahhhh, the memories.

Good but Not worth all that
Yes I gave them a 5 star rating but only because they have grown on me. My first impression of the product was...so so. I really don't like the Strawberry. I think the vanilla is creamy when it hits the moisture in your mouth and the Chocolate well chocolate is always good. So you win me over there. But as far as the price of these...its all hype. I think other flavors might be something to explore but I won't buy these again. I think its a one time deal for me. Might be good if you had a business you wanted to add to a special corner, but other than that Its not worth my taste buds to eat them.

Somewhat good some what bad
This astronaut ice cream is very crunchy. It doesn’t exactly melt in your mouth and it only tastes like chocolate, not any of the other flavors. Overall it was ok.

Grandsons Favorite
My grandson loves these. I had them sent to him but the item had not arrived and Amazon was asking how would I rate the product. I sent back they had not been received yet. About 30 minutes later they arrived and he was happy. I have ordered these on several occasions. There always a hit!
