I got this for my daughter and to be honest would not buy it again. Not only is the towelling material not soft it was also very poorly put together. After one wear one of the seams came apart resulting in myself having to make a repair as it was required for a school trip and it was too short notice to return. Thankfully the home repair seems to have sorted the poor quality manufacture but for the price I would have expected it to last a little longer. Avoid.

After two washes, the hood is falling to bits. I got this to replace a Hatley robe is bought my son when he was smaller. The Hatley was cheaper and is still going strong apart from being too small.

Heed the other reviews. This item was too small and began to fall apart with just one wash (hadn’t even worn it yet - it was washed on arrival). Constantly sheds fluff. Poor quality. I doubt it’ll last more than a few washes.

There is very little positive about this towelling robe:Firstly, the sizing is far too small - the age 13 robe is smaller than an age 10 robe it was bought to replace.Secondly - it shed so much fluff that it was still unwearable even after 2 washesAfter the third wash the stitching began to come apart from the elasticated belt area.

This robe is a bit small for older kids. The waist part is too high up on my 11 year old son. Also the fabric pulls a lot. I have cut the threads off but more keep appearing. I put in a cold wash and The colour runs like crazy and it has already faded after only 2 washes.

Brilliant use it for sons swimming lessons. Came in good time, washes well and no fluff coming out after washing and dries him well I took a 9-10 for my average 5-6 year old and it comes all the way down to the ankles. We fold the sleeves; will last us for a bit. Belt is fixed to the gown so no chance of loosing it

Bought this as a quick cover for swimming. The age 7-8 fits my usually 3-4 wearing child. Works well for swimming, keeps them warm and gets them mostly dry at the same time making for a quick exit from the changing room. It washes well

My 11 year old daughter loves this gown for when she gets out the bath, Plus she puts her long hair in the hood to stop it dripping everywhere
