Unfortunately due to the packaging of this product it comes rolled up.This makes it very difficult / awkward to work with.The paper backing tears easily when using larger sized pieces and is impossible to get excess strips of the backing off.I found the adhesive to be ridiculously sticky, to the point that it was impossible to cut! By knife, it just tore, even with a brand new genuine 'Stanley' blade loaded into my favourite knife. With Scissors, the glue just gummed up the blades and ruined them.Once installed, the product does however function very well, keeping an improved level of comfort and quietness.When I next require sticky back closed cell foam, I will probably try another supplier due to the frustration caused in cutting and removing the backing.

used to soundproof a pc, seems to work ok, certainly reduces vibe noise from system fans.It's very sticky though so a bit of forward planning won't do any harm.

This product is easy to use and does the job, I noticed a marked difference in the noise reduction within my car.

This is a very light adhesive backed foam sheet for acoustic deadening. I would guess it has many other possible uses as well and is exactly as described for covering and insulation. The only quibble I would make is that it is quite expensive for what it is.

I purchased this to fit to the inner panels of a classic car and its very effective. The only issue I found was when it was cut to shape it was difficult to get the backing off. It tends to rip and leave small amounts of backing around the edges that have been cut which is where it needs to stick most. Other than that its good stuff - in fact I have ordered some more
