I now have 2 sets of these glass bowls with glass/silicone lids. I absolutely love them! What I love: all parts are dishwasher safe and microwavable, it's robust glass that is still portable for my work lunches, and best of all NO plastic parts! They seem a bit pricey, but I believe they are high-quality and will hold up over time. I highly recommend Urban Green glass storage containers!

These are great containers. They aren't very deep, but generally large enough to hold leftovers. Very convenient lids which can be used in a microwave - there is a small hole that is generally covered (hard to explain, but it's a great feature). When you use the container in the microwave you open the hole, which I think helps the process. Also, the containers stack nicely. We have used in the microwave and the refrigerator, not in the oven or the freezer, as that's not what we do with leftovers.

At first I wasn't sure that I liked these containers. It seemed like the lid wasn't going to stay on tight so I read the directions and was able to do it properly so the lid was nice and tight...yes, read the directions, it helps. I absolutely love that they are dishwasher safe and that the lid is glass as well, most are plastic! They are a nice thick glass so you don't have to worry much about them breaking and the lid is really good quality! I wasn't sure if I would use the bins inside the container but they actually turned out to be great for draining fruits and veggies. I know these are on the pricey side but paying for clean, non plastic items is worth it. I definitely want to get these in other sizes!

Pretty and functional. Perfect sizes for what I needed and my lunch box. If you are on a journey to reduce your exposure to plastics and toxins, these should be part of it. Nicely made, seal well. They freeze too. Little vent port is perfect for keeping pets out while still cooling on counter 😬😂.

I was really excited about these after purchasing a different set from this company. What made their products so appealing were the fact that they were plastic-free. So when I saw these, it was a no brainer to add them to my collection. I was very disappointed to find out that the inner baskets that come with these are plastic. I assumed they'd also be silicone like what's on the lids. Outside of that, they're well made- just like the other set. Sturdy yet lightweight glass bases. Ultra-lightweight and plastic-free lids made from silicone & borosilicate glass. I'm still going to use them, especially since they're usable without the baskets. But I'll feel pouty about those baskets for a long while lol. Oh well.

These have been great for extending the life of my produce! They make cleaning my fruit so much easier and feel nice and heavy

This product is amazing. I needed to write a review for it because this product doesn't have enough. First off, it's entirely glass (the container and the lid). If you've been looking for glass meal prep food storage containers then you know how hard it is to find glass lids (they are almost always plastic). It's microwave safe and it is dishwasher safe (although I hand wash it). I use this to bring my lunch to work. It's amazing. It has a lid with a vent so when you're using the break room microwave at work your food stays clean and fresh. I love how it's also air tight, no leaks as I bring it to work in my bag. The glass also feels very premium and heavy duty, it's not thin glass. If you're hesitant about this product don't be. I got the 4 pack of 35oz containers and it's really a game changer.

At first glance, wow, these seemed incredible. Seemingly heavy-duty, and my leftovers (sometimes including partially eaten produce, like avocado, which notoriously goes brown quickly) began to last much longer in these as compared to old plastic storage. The first chipping of one of these happened very quickly after I started using them; it came out of the dishwasher slightly dinged. I didn't think so much about where that chip of glass ended up; I was more upset that they were apparently so fragile that it would only take a couple of days of use to get damaged. A bit later, I noticed that there were a couple small chips of glass in one of the larger glass containers that I had nested a smaller one into (the smaller one had chipped). YIKES. Long-ish story short, the edges of these glass containers chip easily. The thought of glass chips ending up in my food and then in my throat or stomach is very scary. These would be AMAZING if they didn't chip so easily. Update 1 year into using these: We are very careful with these, knowing that they chip, and so far nothing bad has happened. The additional detail I came back to share is that a few months ago, I noticed that food I was storing in these was taking on the taste of our dishwasher soap. The silicone absorbs the smell/taste. We've only put the lids on the top shelf. Because the lids have glass, I'm not going to put them in the oven to get rid of the smell/taste. So, after a year of use, for the safety issue with the glass chipping so easily, paired with the dishwasher taste, I'd recommend that you pass these by. There's got to be a better solution out there... if you find it, let me know! :)
