After some time experimenting with standard watercolour paints, the transition to try Gouache paints was very easy. They are similar to watercolour, but have greater opacity and workability. So much better than watercolour with brighter, more defined colours. This paint set doesn't disappoint, the large selection of 112 colours and the mixability of these pretty much offers every conceivable colour you would want. The paint is easy to apply, dries fast and can be easily re-activated. For the price it is a very worthwhile purchase. For me, it's the variety of colours that add to the value, so many kits have only 12 or 24 colours, this one has 112. An excellent paint kit, thoroughly recommended!

For me, it's the variety of colours that add to the value, so many kits have only 12 or 24 colours, this one has 112. An excellent paint kit, thoroughly recommended!

This 112 colour gouache set is very good. Far bigger range of colours than many other sets available. OK, it's not cheap, but you do tend to get what you pay for. We have a budding artist in the family who is over the moon with this set.
