It doesn’t cover you like paint like a lot of foundations so you still can see your skin undertones, but it covers all of the blemishes and needs a smooth finish, especially after you use some pressed powder. I wish I could’ve seen better colors matching so I could match it to my skin better but I had some darker summer tone that I just mixed it with and it’s fine… I would definitely go to a retail place to find the brand and match colors first to find the color for yourself and then buy it cheaper here on Amazon. I was looking for a mineral based foundation with less chemicals in it than the brand I was using because I’m trying to be more careful with the types of chemicals I’m using on my body, but also because the price got too high for the L’Oreal brand I was using. I would highly suggest this foundation. I think we would go through it pretty quickly if you used it every day and put it on thick.
