Life from the mind of a 6 year old
This book is funny. Part of it is from Nikki's point of view in her diary entries. Then we get to see the world threw her little 6 year old sister Brianna because of an incident. We get to take a look into the mind of Brianna. What she likes, what she thinks of her big sister Nikki, what kind of trouble she gets up to. But most importantly we get to see how she responds to texts from her sister's friends, because she also get's her hands on Nikki's phone. It's a hilarious tale. Definitely a tale from a not so bratty little sister. Worth the read.

Hilarious, heart-warming, and totally relatable. A must for Dork Diaries fans!
Hilarious, heart-warming, and totally relatable. A must for Dork Diaries fans! Dork Diaries: Sister Showdown (Volume 16) is pure fun from start to finish. Nikki’s voice is as laugh-out-loud as ever, and the sister dynamics are spot-on, equal parts chaos, jealousy, and genuine love. The diary format, doodles, and fast-paced chapters make it super engaging, especially for reluctant readers, and my kid devoured it in two sittings. What I loved most is how the book balances big belly laughs with real feelings. It touches on competition, friendship, and doing the right thing without ever feeling preachy. The humour is clean, the drama is dramatic (in the best middle-school way), and the ending lands with a sweet, satisfying message about family and teamwork. You can read this as a standalone, but returning fans will appreciate the little call backs and character growth. Perfect for ages; 8–13, or anyone who enjoys witty, highly illustrated stories. Bottom line: lively, relatable, and impossible to put down. Add it to your basket!
