Easy to use! Real metal and looks great. Used for a border on my bathroom back splash and trim on my fridge. No issues with it sticking.

I ordered one that was used. It was already cut in sections which worked for. The edges are sharp and I cut myself so be careful. Stick rating is very good. If you mess up, you will take paint off like I did. The metal was a plastic covering on front which protects it until you use it. It shines! I am impressed. If you need a stainless strip that self sticks, this product is for you.

After reading reviews of "Amazon Vine" members, I see that Amazon has a wide window of acceptance for this Appellation. The photos of this trim on Amazon explicitly state " Please wear gloves and cut with tin snips". Nonetheless, several "Vine" reviewers complained that it was hard to cut (using household scissors? - no kidding?!) One Vine person even thought this SS trim was aluminum! Another thought a magnet could stick to it (perhaps that person was sent 400-series SS, rather than the 300-series that I bought?)But here is my biggest shock - not a single reviewer measured how thick it was nor explained the sharp edge problem.My review of the 1"-wide SS strip:The cutting process that the factory uses apparently creates a razor-sharp burr that points away from the finished surface. Please see photo#1. I was able to use a carbide-tipped tool to remove this sharp edge manually from 3"-long strips that I cut, but it took some effort, for sure.As of my writing, not a single reviewer has mentioned how thick this SS trim is, even though that was certainly of keen interest to me. I used my micrometer, after de-burring, and I measured a thickness of 0.011"-thick. (To be diligent, I spent some considerable effort to scrape away all of the burr)I purchased this trim to act as a force-spreader for a "girdle" that I built to reinforce weak spots on 65-gallon HDPE rain barrels that I had purchased. After fusing the cracks shut and fusing SS reinforcing screen into the barrel wall over the cracks with an extra coating of melted HDPE, I wrapped four 1/32" multistranded 316SS cables around the circumference at a height where the HDPE wall had split and leaked. The barrels are actually rounded octagons, and this means that there are eight high points around the circumference where the tension cables might cut right into (and through!) the HDPE barrel wall, so I cut 3" lengths of Coengwui SS trim to go over the high points. See photo#2.I transferred 65 gallons of water into the barrel and, so far, no leaking and no taut 1/32" SS cables cutting into the barrel, notwithstanding 520 pounds of water inside. The 0.012"-thick SS trim is unimpressed by the taut cables.

The molding trim was of good quality there was some flexibility in the material be careful trim has sharp edges use gloves . I would advise that you buy the trim cutter scissors metal cannot be cut correctly with regular scissors. Also the front of trim has a very thin piece of plastic that must be pulled off before applying the trim to the actual mirror . Once you stick the metal trim to the mirror and press it against the mirror the adhesive works well it sticks. I added flowers and butterflies to bring out the trim.

I decided to give my bathroom a facelift with no experience whatsoever. We hope to do an actual remodel sometime in the future, so I chose a lot of peel-and-stick items to cover the ugly 70's design. I used this trim to edge the subway backsplash "tile" (peel-and-stick) so it would match the old medicine cabinet trim. This peel-and-stick trim did not stay adhered to the painted surface and is too stiff. It does not bend, and when the sticky backing failed, no adhesive glue that I tried even began to help it stick down. I had great difficulty aligning the trim and when pulled away to readjust, the adhesive didn't adhere to the surface anymore. In addition, it ruined what was under it. Also, I had to purchase special metal cutters, which ended up deforming the trim as it cut. I wish I had gone with a different option. Looks cool though if you don't notice the part that sticks out a little from the wall. People keep complementing the new look in the bathroom, so the problem is not too obvious.

I bought a new cooktop but there was a gap between the cooktop and the downdraft ventilation unit. This worked great to fill in that gap. I highly recommend it and be sure to use gloves while handling it. I am so pleased that the metal taping stuck to the bit of surface I had. It also cuts easily with a good pair of scissors.

I used this product to cover up the gold edge molding between the mirror and the counter backsplash. Everything in my bathroom was brushed nickel except this piece. I never knew how to cover up the gold mirror trim until I came across this product. The application was easy. I would suggest using a sturdy and sharp pair of shears to cut the metal molding so that you get a clean, nice looking edge to work with. Do wear gloves because the edges of the molding are a bit sharp and can cause a paper cut-like cut if you are working with bare hands and happen to run your finger over the edge while smoothing out the metal trim. Once you have installed the trim and smoothed out the bumps, etc., go back and apply pressure, in smaller sections, along the length of the trim to ensure a good adhesion.

It looked good for about 2 hours - then it began to lose its stickiness in various places. I used it on three different mirrors and they all had problems with staying glued down.
