It's stainless steel, so there's no reason for it not to work on an induction hob.

Will the pan need to be seasoned

Yes, I rubbed olive oil over the inside of the pan prior to using it. It helps prevent the rice from sticking to the surface and adds to the aroma of the rice and other ingredients. After it's first usage & wash, I re-oiled the pan to prevent damage to the surface such as rust etc.) when not in use.
