Generally the item is as depicted: a patterned black sweater vest which is not spectacular but fine for a cable patten look. Color, or rather lack of color since it is black is true. It appears to be fairly durable and useful for a layered look. Fit was fine, perhaps a little bit large but not overly so. Nothing wrong with seams or stitchery. Reasonably priced. Not particularly soft . As weight would be classifed as medium its wormth is somewhat less than a closer knit.
