Timber Tuff TMW-02SS 20 Inch Swivel Grab Skidding Tongs, Black

Works great so far. Machining on the c clips and posts is a bit off but overall seems like it will do a fine job. Already skidded an 8' long 15" oak. Lifted with ease with tractor frontloader. Didnt even need to hammer the spikes at all. They dug in fast and hard.

What's not to like. It simply does the job. I should have bought one years ago.

Easy to use. Does what it says. Not sure how it would clamp onto trees that are at the large end of its size range but it gets the job done. Used it to move a few telephone pole so far and a have a few trees that I need to cut and move

Bought these skidding tongs to move come crossties around which it does just fine, then used them again to remove downed trees in my shooting lanes in the woods. I was very skeptical about these at first but have been pleasantly surprised at how sturdy they are.

It bent during the second day of light use. It only has a 30 day return policy with Amazon. Unfortunately, I did not use them within the first 30 days. I contacted the manufacturer, Timber Tuff. They called within an hour of me sending an email. They also would not exchange or repair it, since it wasn't purchased directly from them and since it was damaged during use. They did offer to sell me some replacement parts. I'm sure the replacement parts would be just as weak. I guess I will try a different brand. Do not waste your money!

I bought this, then bought a complete log skidder which had its own skidding tongs, so I sent this one back. But the quality was excellent! Really well-made! I liked these better than the ones that came with the skidder, but I couldn't justify keeping them.

I have used it to drag 20Ft sections of fallen trees, lift logs for easier cutting, with both my tractor and 4 wheeler. It does the job.

I just used it for the first time yesterday. I pulled a 15 foot log half burred in mud out and all I did was rest it on the log. As soon as I started pulling it tightened up and never slipped a bit. The very sharp points dug right in and the log came right of the mud. It was almost to easy and if your looking at this, you know working with logs, nothing ever seems to easy. It's worth every penny.

On to the end of a winch it makes loading timber to the trailer so much easier.

I was surprised how well this worked, even though they were smaller than I was used to. The sharp points at the ends dig right into the logs to lift them safely.
