Wi-Fi not showing up yet not sure if it’s thats motherboar fault. the three pin led, won’t fit any male connectors. Yet ten outta ten, first time building a pc had no problem with the motherboard, hands touched it and everything still works (don’t know if that means anything) will update when I get WiFi

Amazing combo
This motherboard is perfect to keep up with a 4070 super, and has been able to keep up with intense gameplay. Something to keep in mind though is that the ram sticks NEED to be a DDR5 and you will need thermal paste, but a gram is just fine. Other than that this combo can support even the best of recent games. Highly recommend!

Games crash constantly
First off the deal is good if the motherboard functioned without instability constantly. I recently upgraded from an AM4 to this hunk of junk. The processor works and have not had issues with it but the motherboard is causing instability’s which I thought was from the RAM. Replaced ram and tried a different GPU power supply etc. Crashing during gaming constantly and randomly. I’ve ran all tests I could and they came up with nothing. I didn’t have this problem with my AM4 motherboard at all.UPDATE: sent the board in for RMA to MSI I had to pay 50 bucks for shipping which they should have payed for since It was defective. It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t received it back. Hopefully it works when it comes back.

MSI win!
This motherboard came perfectly labeled, allowing me, a first time PC builder, to build and operate a higher end gaming computer at an affordable price. It seemed thick and sturdy, even without instructions I could have worked my way through it, and coupled with a good cooler I am seeing cpu temps around 47 degrees at full ultra settings, the board came with extra hardware, fit perfectly in the case and looks really nice! Will definitely return to MSI for my next build!

Careful with WD/Samsung in the M2.1 slot.
Overall, a great deal. You should be aware that M2.1 SSD slot will likely not work with certain WDs and Samsung SSDs. This is a known issue and doesnt seem to want to go away. if you want it to work, you need to back the BIOS off to 144. Anything newer and you drive will not show up in M2.1. You can also use drives other than samsung and WD. I only use WD Black, so I backed my BIOS back to 144 and all is fine. Also, be prepared to update/change the gel pads for the M2.1 as they dont contact the SSD anyway.

The Ryzen 9 7900X handles everything I throw at it with ease, and the MSI motherboard has all the features I need, from solid VRMs to great connectivity. Cheaper than a new computer
I was about to spend 3500 on a new PC. My ryzen 5 and 128gb memory was no longer enough. I realized I only really wanted more processor and memory. So because my current MB couldn't support more memory i figured I’d just change the MB and get a better CPU with it. I removed the old MB, moved the SSD drives and GPU to new MB, added the CPU, added new memory, 256GB, put new MB back in tower, VOILA! Running like a champ. I did have to rebuy windows. And I did buy more memory. So I ended up spending 1800 instead of the 3000-3500. I am a virtualization engineer and I use my pc to build virtual lab environments. So my use might be atypical. But this MB and CPU got it done for me. FYI, no cooler comes with this cpu.
