I purchased this for my OB. My OB Dr. Arevallo was simply AMAZING. I have high risk pregnancies and my first one didn’t go so well. I switched my OB for my second one and she made me feel so safe. She checked on me, she listened to me. She celebrated me. I remember walking into her office when I hit my third trimester and she came in congratulating me because my first pregnancy I was about 2 weeks shy of my third trimester when I was forced to give birth. She made me feel so at ease. She was so proactive about everything and although I still had a preterm baby, I made it 7 weeks longer than the first time. She did a c section on me and she made sure I was well aware of everything going on. When she pulled my baby out she told him happy birthday before I heard his little cry. She checked on me the entire time I was in the hospital. I knew I needed to show my appreciation and words just wasn’t going to be enough. I thought this would be a great gift to sit on her desk to constantly remind her of how great of a doctor she is. Sometimes we need a little encouragement to remind us that we’re doing good when we’re having a bad day. I just hope whenever she looks at it it reminds her that she make a difference in people lives.

This is a bit smaller than I thought it was and it is metal. However, its absolutely beautiful and was lived by my granddaughters doctor!
