This screen protector was easy to apply with the included tray/kit. Writing does feel more like paper and gives better feel for more precision. It does have a different feel to it for just regular finger scrolling as well. I kind of like it, but it may not be for everyone. I think the paper feel may wear over time and end up being slicker. I can't see that the pencil leaves any marks but it feels slightly smoother in the main section of the screen that I use a lot. I do not notice any issues with screen visibility or sensitivity.

1st off, I opened my package, it was very nicely packed. The concept using the plastic to assist on attaching the screen protector is great! I didn't struggle w the 1st one. I followed all the steps, wipe, dry, sticky sticker. I watched the video so I wouldn't mess up. Removed tab 1 and lifted, when I lifted I noticed something on the inside of the screen protector. See pic 1 and 2. I didn't want to touch it as to not smudge the screen. So I laid it down, Removed tab # 2, then let it go, well, it was a piece of something hard, . Idk what it was but I had to trash it. I attempted the 2nd one but it was confusing to place it on the tray. So, once again I followed the steps 1-3. Laid it down and it was ok. Still have a few minor bubbles. I'm bummed cuz the 1st one was trash..The feel of the screen is rough, which is what I'm guessing should be the feel of paper. It feels nice, my pencil doesn't slip around. Hopefully, it'll last. Would I buy again? Probably not. The pix 3 and 4 are the end result of the 2nd screen protector I used.

I hope my review helps other newbie customers for this product and Apple in general. I have never owned an iPad, or an iPhone and so i got my first iPad this year and read and watched through countless videos about which screen protector would be the best for illustrators and artists.... everything seemed to point to Paperlike or whatever product was considered " industry standard"..... but the issue was that I did not have $44 to blow on it. I took the leap after reading the positive reviews on here and IM SO GLAD I GOT THIS!! The entire installation process was so easy thanks to the genius tray set up and there is not a single bubble on my iPad as a result. It feels so good to draw on it. I just care about the sensitivity, ease of drawing and how detailed the brush can lay down the colors and lines. It performs above and beyond. I have been drawing with traditional media since the 80's and this feels really wonderful to draw on. This price alone is the right price for products like this. It's not insanely expensive and just feels so balanced and customer friendly. My Apple pencil feels just the right amount of texture to draw on without grating on the surface.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to for this product. I've installed my fair share of screen protectors over the years, and this one might have just been the easiest to install out of all of them. I bought this out of frustration because I tried a different product and the installation didn't go well, with lots of things getting caught under the film regardless of how many times I cleaned it. With this set, I was more careful with the cleaning, but the real difference maker is the tray. Having the tray to hold the iPad in place and keeping the screen protector straight, as well as having the guide for placing it correctly, makes a big difference in the installation process. I wish all other brands were this good or better in this regard. Edit: Changing this to 4 stars after using this for a couple of days. As a screen protector, it's just ok. Nothing revolutionary. It doesn't increase the friction for writing very much. My pencil still feels like it's sliding all the time, so it doesn't really give a "paperlike" feel, unlike a couple other screen protectors I have used with my previous iPad. It definitely has an impact on the clarity of the screen, but it doesn't bother me much because I primarily use my iPad for taking notes. You can still see the screen perfectly fine. Overall it's a good product, and I really appreciate the ease of the installation process, but if you're looking for the right feel of the screen protector regardless of what the installation is like, then look elsewhere.

feels horrible on your fingers when swiping for a little bit but eventually you get used to it. size is perfect. reside is left behind when cleaning but could be due to wrong cleaning product. no scratches or cracks so far.

Easy to apply onto the tablet I like that it is quieter than another paper-like screen protector I’ve purchased. The other one sounded like a single sheet of paper on a table.

I bought an iPad to use at school (I am an educator) to collect signatures during meetings. I read the reviews - a read the reviews when purchasing here and do my due diligence - and this product stacks up to the reviews. It was VERY easy to apply and the few bubbles that I had after application were easy to smooth out. This product comes with two paper like screen protectors a squeegee, and all the necessary prep items for a smooth application. I have been using screen protectors on my devices since they were introduced and this one went on fabulously. Now, how does writing feel? It feels just like writing on paper! It's awesome in that regard, but also it is not so "paper like" that it dulls the vibrant colors of my iPad. The ESR Paper-Feel Screen Protector is the best of both worlds and I couldn't be more pleased. I will update - mayhaps not for a long time - when I need to apply the second of the two included protectors. Awesome product!

This screen protector is fantastic, installation was simple, and it fits perfectly. The paper-like texture makes writing and drawing on the iPad feel natural, with just the right amount of resistance. It’s thin, responsive, and still provides solid scratch protection. I bought it for its value for the kids iPad and am impressed by the quality and the wear.
