My cat urinated on chair and the cleaner I used stripped the velvet & color** A: I would check with the manufacturer to be sure. I have used this on velvet-like fabric and it was fine -- our velvet is textured, so any problems wouldn't stand out anyway, but appears to have worked great. It also worked great on all the other upholstery. I will say it leaves your floor a greasy mess, so maybe spray it outside or put down a cloth before you start. There is no warning about this on any of the literature, so the slip factor on our hard floor was a real surprise. **Q: Can I use this spray on a natural fiber rug like jute?** A: I use this spray on my canvas shoes, outdoor furniture, rugs natural and synthetic, Karastan carpet....
