I'd like to use it on a deep blue velvet couch but am worried about it. My cat urinated on chair and the cleaner I used stripped the velvet & color

I would check with the manufacturer to be sure. I have used this on velvet-like fabric and it was fine -- our velvet is textured, so any problems wouldn't stand out anyway, but appears to have worked great. It also worked great on all the other upholstery. I will say it leaves your floor a greasy mess, so maybe spray it outside or put down a cloth before you start. There is no warning about this on any of the literature, so the slip factor on our hard floor was a real surprise.

Can I use this spray on a natural fiber rug like jute?

I use this spray on my canvas shoes, outdoor furniture, rugs natural and synthetic, Karastan carpet.... Spray away. Be sure and let dry well. I do make sure and wipe off of my wood floors should I get over spray. So he, use on your natural fiber rugs!

How often would I need to apply for light wool rug?

Depends on the traffic. I would definitely apply a bit more over those areas when you spot clean.

I have used it on suede. I have used it on nearly everything. Velvet? Not yet.
