I have really spent time considering what to say here and what to rate this product... I guess I will rate it 5 stars?? It DID keep my infant baby daughter alive when she scooted off the bed. However.... it leaves room between the mattress and the railing. I have tightened it many times but it still leaves room for her tiny body to slip into... as it did, when my non-rolling baby scooted off to find her mama but I had walked away for 5 minutes thinking she was still asleep. She scooted right into the crack between railing and bed and I couldnt find her when I came back in the room. She was breathing because of the mesh and kept onto the bed [wedged onto the side of it] and I was able to quickly pull her out and assess that while she was breathing, I dont think she was getting enough air [maybe because again. She was wedged and couldnt take a full breath??] She was pale and splotchy and kept falling asleep when I picked her up [granted, newborns do that] but the WAY she did was abnormal. I ended up taking her to the ER to check on her. She was ok.I basically never let her out of my arms now. We still use the railing but wedge small pillows in the crack to prevent any danger again. And I dont trust it, I just let my girl sleep in the bed, with bed rail while Im in the room with her and she is in sight.

Very flimsy. Child will get stuck if/when they roll over. I feel like this is a suffocation hazard and we will be returning without using the product. There is too much rom for blankets and a child to get stuck between the mattress and covers and the side of this thing.I’m also 5’5” with carpal tunnel and some other hand mobility issues and I have such a hard time unlocking it. I can not reach both sides at the same time. The weird round thing that’s “supposed” to hold it secure is just odd. I feel like they sacrificed safety for low manufacturing costs to maximize profits which is not in the best interest of the purpose it is intended for-keeping children safe.

This was one of the most reasonable priced bed rails so I gave it a try. The instructions are pretty poor....it doesnt tell you to make sure the velcro is on the outside until the last step when its already assembled - therefor you would have to disassemble the entire thing to switch it around - guess what? I didnt. I left the velcro on the inside and so far my toddler doesn't pick at it. Its also very HIGH. I have this on a 10" mattress on the lowest setting and the top of this rail is at the same height as his headboard. I feel like it doesnt need to be quite so high, but its sturdy and seems good.

I was pleasantly surprised with this bedrail! We had a popular brand name one break a couple years back so when my next toddler was ready for a bedrail I was looking for something different. The height and length seem perfect for a twin size bed to contain a crazy sleeper, while allowing for room to climb up and down at the end. I love that it screws right into the bedframe. It makes installing on our twin platform bed nice and secure feeling. The fold down part it such a better design than similar products. At 8 months pregnant it is much easier to lay a sleeping kiddo in bed without the railing in the way. It's easy enough to fold up and down before and after nap/bed daily. Other models seem to blocked by the bedframe when installed without a box spring. I would 100% recommend to a friend!

I was transitioning my 2 1/2 year-old autistic child from her crib to a full-size bed. The bed is a platform and is very low to the ground. I was not generally concerned about her falling out of bed since even that would be met with a gym mat covered by a very soft rug. What I was looking for more so was to give her that sense of definition and comfort.This product delivered both. It was also incredibly easy to assemble and install. The locking measure and the anchoring system is easy to install and sturdy.I am very comfortable saying that you should buy with confidence. Just make sure that you anchor this product properly. We are both sleeping through the night soundly and securely because of this wonderful product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Honestly didn’t expect much from this but the frame is actually metal and is pretty easy to set up! It comes with an anchor but we don’t use it and it stays put. I don’t normally write reviews but this thing is great and most importantly it’s so quiet!

I purchased this to use on my toddlers bunk bed (bottom bunk) as she was transitioning from toddler bed. It was easy to put together and I love that it’s adjustable and easy to disassemble if I need to take it with me. Great price and I feel secure knowing it’s strapped into place and she can’t fall between the wall and bed at night. Excellent durability, we have used it for a while and’s it hasn’t fallen apart so good to know it’s not cheaply made though cost efficient.
