Size matters
I had initially purchased the 6.5 length leash and was incredibly disappointed after almost being dragged through a yard whenever my dog saw a squirrel. I disliked it to begin with as it didn’t seem to help my dogs pulling at all and it even gave him what I felt more freedom than a retractable leash. After returning the first 6.5 in leash I purchased the 4.5 and let me tell you it’s a huge difference while my dog obviously still pulled a bit it didn’t feel like I was holding on for dear life it also allowed for me to redirect my dog whenever he pulled.definitely a great leash that’ll help me better train my dog.(My dog is 50ish Pounds for reference the 4.5 is ideal for his size)

I bought this for a goldendoodle and my minpin. More of for training my doodle . It definitely has some tension in the leash. My smaller dog can hardly stretch it at all. I think my dog will pick up on the tension eventually on his own. I make him sit every time it Stretches fully out.
