Major design flaw?
This is a very elegant and attractive walking aid.The ergonomic handle feels comfortable and genuinely does help the gripping action of the hand. The biggest, and glaringly obvious defect in the stick, in my humble opinion, is that the retaining stud ( the stud that allows one to adjust the length of the implement ) only protrudes from the one side. This means that all the downward pressure of the user is being supported on one side only on this tiny stud, which in turn means that the ability to fully support the user is massively compromised and thus is a safety concern.I never envisaged that this would ever be the case, as I wrongly assumed that all walking aids like this would have a stud that protruded from both sides and so added more strength and thus more durability.I cannot for the life of me understand why the designer ignored this flaw.It seems to wobble when one raises it to take the next step, and that's why I examined it more closely after not registering it would be a problem when I was adjusting it for my height ( 5foot ten inches )As a fashion accessory or maybe for a very light user, it may be fine, but for me, a fifteen and a half stone man, I will treat it with caution whenever I use it.I hope this was helpful folks.

Very comfortable, easy to adjust
This is the best walking stick I have had for everyday use. The hand grip is very comfortable especially when hands are painful. Haven't tried it at a nature reserve yet as have a sprung one for uneven surfaces.Easy to adjust and right size for me as am only 5ft 2ins

Excellent stick - one of a pair purchased for each hand
My husband uses these sticks and has found the palm friendly handle far more comfortable to use than the conventional walking sticks. Only one complaint - they each arrived in HUGE boxes, on their own, one in each box! Really unnecessary packaging! But height adjustable, NOT collapsible, but that is fine as the collapsible ones are noisy (you can hear them tapping along) to use. These are quiet!

Brought for my wife
Got this walking stick for my wife who is 64 and suffers with arthritis. The handle is ideal for her to hold as it is ergonomically designed and the height of the stick is easy to adjust. Other sticks she has the hand grip is not as easy on her hand as the grip on this stick. The stick itself is strong and well made but is not heavy. Great buy and just what she needed, would buy again.

Fantastic stick.
I have the right hand version too but got the left one as some days I can’t hold a stick in my right hand due to my arthritis.Great stick. I’m 6’ with 36” legs, so some sticks aren’t high enough for me, but this one is great and isn’t even extended to the highest setting so even taller people could use it too.

Very comfortable
I suffer a great deal with Psoriatic and Osteoarthritis as well as Sciatica on my right side. This walking stick/cane whatever your preference is really really comfortable and the handle that goes round your wrist is very useful. I would definitely recommend this. I am 35yrs, I was diagnosed with arthritis over 22yrs ago, I am 5ft 6inch.

Walking stick for excellence.
I bought this for my wife to help with her new hip, the grip is much better for your wristand is handed left and right, so be sure to order the correct one(left hand for left hand). We always found the plain round handles not so easy to grip, but this type allows yourhand to have a non slip grip and better to walk with. Recommend to every one for asafe way and feel confident.Thank you supplier, and supply was excellent next day delivery and well packaged.Yours sincerely Frank.
