Good polyester dye
Well like most customers say this dye has quite a pungent smell. However having used it on a pair of polyester shorts they’ve certainly come out with an intense colour. It seems more like dark blue than charcoal grey considering they were a light grey originally but anyway it’s giving them a new lease of life so I’m quite pleased with how they’ve out.

Dyed my dress the wrong colour!
Easy to use but unfortunately the brown dye came out forest green. I bought it again hoping that it would dye my dress brown but no different. A waste of money!

This dye worked very well, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by how easy it was and the dress I dyed looks amazing. Would definitely recommend

didn't do great of a job on red/black striped polyester pants. They turned out dark red wine.

This isn't really a 'silver' colour at all but I had read reviews and blogs that suggested this was a good charcoal colour
I bought this to dye some pale grey linen curtains - I wasn't sure what material the stitching thread was and I wanted it to match and so I used half dye for natural fabrics and half this dye for man made fabrics in the same colour. The colour came out exactly the shade I wanted - a charcoal grey. This isn't really a 'silver' colour at all but I had read reviews and blogs that suggested this was a good charcoal colour. I've given this 4 stars instead of 5 simply because it is not the sort of dye you put in a washing machine - which would be far easier. I don't have a giant pan that would fit 4 full length curtains in - so I had to use the washing machine and hope for the best. The colour was a bit patchy, but once the curtains are up no one can tell unless I point it out so I can live with it.

Excellent
Dyed a washed out white bra. Wow.... I had a really washed out white bra and the straps were looking disgusting so dyed it green. Looks brand new. Buy this dye it's better than dylon I boiled the water and added the bra then left it on simmer for 60min. The whole bra including straps and plastic parts turned completely green. Absolutely brilliant Only downfall it stinks a bit so open a window

Zero for two attempts at bright pink (in a washing machine)
Other reviewers have said they had success with this in their washing machines but two attempts, one at 60 degrees C and one at 95 degrees C, didn’t make much of a dent in this formerly ivory-white garment. The label claims it is 100% polyester. Both the care label and the buttons have come out the required shade (after the second attempt in a hotter wash) but not the garment itself. After the first wash it came out extremely pale pink, after the second was pale pink with a distinctly grey hue. It’s just for a fancy dress costume, on a second-hand item, because I didn’t want to spend much. I’m going to attempt using Dylon machine dye to see if that covers the (possibly mislabelled?) cloth and, if not, I’ll give up. I had intended to do it on the hob but when the packet arrived, it specified that you must not use a pan that you use for food/cooking. I don’t have a pan I’m prepared to sacrifice to dying clothes, so that’s why I attempted using a washing machine. (I’m only trying it because I thought the second-hand item was cotton and therefore planned to use Dylon in the first place!) I did run cleaner through our washing machine first so that any dirt that might catch the dye was removed and I’ll be cleaning it again afterwards before I test it and maybe put a dark load or two through. In summary, I’m quite envious of the people who managed to get it to work in a machine.

Success!
First time dyeing a polyester jumpsuit and found it to be surprisingly successful. Jumpsuit was 'flesh coloured' so opted for chocolate dye. Followed the instructions exactly including constantly stirring. You wouldn't know that jumpsuit had been another colour originally. Great improvement.

Arrived on time, and worked great. This dye is very green though and it wasn't a really flattering colour for a shirt. I had used two older white shirts of my husbands and used this to dye green for a wedding. I doubt he will wear the shirts again, but to no fault of the product. If you are dyeing clothes, just realize that this colour is verrrrrry green.

Worked well as dye. Only problem is it is yellow and a little green based brown, not orange based like I was expecting. As a result, my light light blue fabric came out dark green-yellow. An easy fix, I just have to dye it now with red to get brown, and I knew that this could happen so I had a fix ready, but it is still inconvenient. The dyes should have the colour base somewhere before buying so you can get all the colours you need to mix at once. Also I know that is yellow/green based brown because that was the colour of the dye bath before I even added the fabric, so its not just a yellow based dye interacting with the light light blue. I thought the brown would be dark enough that you wouldn't end up seeing any green, I was wrong.
