Great buckles for starting leather crafter
I purchased these for costume buckles, so sturdiness is not an issue. Great assortment for the beginner leather crafter. Solid buckles, east to install, perfect size for small projects; bag closure, costumes, etc. Highly recommend. Great price.

Good deal on lightweight buckles!
I've done a fair amount of work requiring the heavy duty roller buckles, but ran into a project that was going to need a bunch of buckles but much lighter stress involved. These looked to be a good choice, but I was pleasantly surprised that they were an excellent choice. Good assortment of sizes. The two smallest look to be too similar at first glance, but at that size there really is a difference. IMHO this is an excellent assortment for the price!

Attractive light-duty buckles
Quantity versus quality won this round. The smaller buckles should do fine, the prongs on the 1 and 1.25 inch are too thin. All have adequate rollers on the frame and all have a good finish. The color of the finish is off, though, looks more like antique bronze than "gunmetal" (forgivable I suppose as some antique guns were bronze). If you need stout buckles, pass these up. They're okay for light or medium straps but won't work well on belts or harnesses, the prongs (the part that goes in the holes) will bend, and the ends of the prongs are sharper than desirable. If you're doing something more ornamental, these buckles will make a nice addition to your project at a budget price.

Great for the price—works for LARP so far
I make my own leather armor (larp grade) and this has held! I am worried it may come undone with too much wear and tear as it seems a little cheap. I usually buy Tandy so that is my reference point. For the price it’s great value and I would buy it again.

These did not fit as expected and looks slightly different than the photos
These did not fit as expected and looks slightly different than the photos advertised. They do come in different size, but none of them actually fit the strap on my leather jacket, where one of the metal buckle actually broke, so I was planning to replaced BOTH, so they would matched and looks new. I wasn't going to have a mismatched buckle on my leather jacket. So unfortunately, I have to return them, since they I have no use for them. They also look more "rusted" like a vintage bronze than like a brown tone bronze. I am sad these did not work out, so I may have to look for new ones that will better match with my leather jacket

Good buy
They look and work great. Easy to use and install. If you want them for sturdier stuff they might work but if you are making a waist belt I recommend something stronger. Great for small stuff though.

weak prongs, but good price
good price for the variety of sizes/ only downside is the prongs are very thin, and so could bend easily. make sure you attach your strapping tightly, to keep the prong aligned towards the center of the buckle. if its too loose, it can angle into the corner of the buckle and the loose end of your strap will come undone.
