Italian Family Kitchen: Authentic Recipes That Celebrate Homestyle Italian Cooking

One of the best regional Italian food cook books with genuine Italian cooking

Great Italian recipes, authentic and simple food

In a world where you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an Italian cookbook, this book stands out among the crowd. The majority of Italian cookbooks contain Italian-American versions. There's nothing wrong with that but if you'd like to go back to the source recipes, this is the cookbook for you. Being Calabrian, Eva brings authenticity to her recipes and stays true to how these dishes are prepared in Italy. Whilst you'll find many familiar dishes within such as Pasta Carbonara (made the correct way), you'll find other lesser known regional dishes such as Supplì and Busiate con Pesto alla Trapanese. The bread section alone is worth the price. The preparation and cooking steps are well laid out and easy to follow for all levels of home cooks. Bringing these recipes to life are the skillful photos by Harper. If you're a fan of authentic Italian recipes done the ways Italians cook them, look no further and purchase this book.
