I purchased the Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AX ICE, and honestly, it is the perfect blend of jaw-dropping aesthetics and rock-solid performance! First of all, the ICE edition's full-white and light silver design looks absolutely stunning—the absolute best choice for anyone building a premium white themed setup. The M-ATX form factor provides great flexibility for mid-sized cases without compromising on high-end features. The power delivery (VRM) is robust and completely stable even with high-end Intel processors, and the massive heatsinks do a fantastic job keeping temperatures incredibly low. Secondly, the high-speed DDR5 support and PCIe 5.0 slot for the GPU make this motherboard completely future-proof. Storage expansion is amazing with Triple M.2 slots, all equipped with dedicated thermal guards. The onboard Intel Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5GbE LAN provide ultra-fast, low-latency connectivity for online gaming. Also, the Q-Flash Plus feature makes updating the BIOS a breeze with a single button. Absolutely impeccable motherboard. Backstory: i wasn't sure what I was doing and tried updating bios, it didnt need an update. That type of thing will destroy lower tier boards. This board tanked that mishap like it never happened. It is absolutely amazing how capable this board is. Definitely a solid purchase for a mid to high tier pc build

I bought three of these motherboards and two of them are perfect and I am still using them. One of them came from the factory with bent pins on the CPU socket. Gigabyte will not honor their warranty against defects and charged me $100 to replace a CPU socket that they shipped as defective. I took the CPU and fan from that motherboard and put into one of the other motherboards and it worked fine and is still working. I carefully placed the CPU into the socket and I know the socket came from them as bad. I have been building computers since 1985 and have been in IT for 38 years. No one could be more careful than I am when building a computer. I have been buying Gigabyte motherboards for over 30 years and have never had a defective unit until now. In reading Reddit about Gigabyte, it seems that their quality has gone down for the last two years and there were others that had my same experience of receiving bent CPU pins from the factory and not getting the warranty to be honored. I do not plan to purchase any future products from Gigabyte since they refuse to honor their warranty.

Pro Compatibility. Size. Price. Con Conclusion This was my second PC build after a while and to my supervise I had no issue with setting it up. The motherboard is excellent for mid-tier pc build with amazing performance for more than 1 year.

It's an excellent motherboard. I was convinced by its quality design and its versatility to connect several new components... i7-14700F, SSD M.2 Samsung 990 Pro with heatsink, 64 GB (2x32) DDR5 6400 Mhz, etc. Its Gigabyte Control Center program installs the necessary drivers and keeps them updated. Tips: 1. Bluetooth only works with the wifi antenna connected. 2. If you are going to install an M.2 SSD with a heatsink (for example: the Samsung 990 Pro with heatsink) as the main OS disk, get an M2 screw to hold it to the board or buy the version without a heatsink because this board comes with a heatsink with its thermal gel. 3. I would have liked the printed manual to be more specific, but the digital version is more complete and includes videos and instructions for locating the memory, disks, fans, etc. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

i have been long overdue for an upgrade, and i finally started to feel it while gaming. i decided to go back to intel processors, and i was drawn to this motherboard. it is very nice looking aesthetically, but not only is it beautiful - it is high functioning! it was not hard to set everything up, once i looked at the manual on the website. i can appreciate gigabyte's desire to use less paper in the packaging. i am sure many of the instruction booklets simply get thrown away, and it wasn't hard at all to look it up online. it hasn't been long, but i am really enjoying my computer upgrade already and looking forward to gaming again. :)

I really like the motherboard the only downside i have is that it won’t connect to the RGB Fusion app so I can’t change the lights which isn’t great but otherwise I love the board.

Excellent board. Pretty much plug-and-play, no manual needed. It applied proper RAM timings, comes with some easy overclocking options, and has great features built onto the board like WiFi 6E, GbE, and Optical Audio out. It has been rock solid through all games and testing I've thrown at it. Would definitely buy it again. My only complaint is some of the software inside the OS - GCC is helpful to install proper drivers but is too buggy to leave running.

I went with this board as it has 8 onboard SATA connectors. The 2.5gbps ethernet port also a plus, I am using this in a server with a 25G fiber card and use this port to pass to a router VM (good for 1.5gbps service). Also, I wanted the white for this box, it's a good looking board. The VM cooling just fits with the CPU cooler. Lots of fan headers. I was also able to get the CPU where I wanted it (overclocked, underpowered, voltage capped), only real limitation of the BIOS I have encountered is no native RGB controls (well, ECC support would have been a plus also). Been running 24/7 for the last 4-5 months without issue.
