Good filter for case fans
I had purchased a new 140mm Noctua Redux fan for the bottom (intake) of my computer. Being that my computer sits on a hardwood floor, I felt it was best to also get a filter for this fan location. The quality of this filter isnt bad, but not great either...it certainly has magnets in its frame, however if you plan to use those magnets to attach the filter to your case, just be aware that the fan may not sit perfectly flat. My case came with small rubber grommets to put in the holes that you mount your case fans onto, these are to help prevent vibrations, and do a good job of it but also prevent this filter from sitting perfectly flat. In the end, i decided it was best to attach this filter with the screws that will be holding the case fan in place just so I dont have to worry about it moving or falling off since it is on the floor. Again, because I attached this with the screws, and my case has the rubber grommets to prevent fan vibration, the case does not sit PERFECTLY flat against the case all the way around the edges of the filter, but it is securely in place, and any gap is quite small so I am not worried about too much dust being kicked into the case. Overall, I will say this filter is a solid quality and worth the investment to keep your case clean. Thermaltake makes good quality products and has been around for a long time. I do recommend this filter as of now, and will update in the future if for whatever reason there are any problems with its actual performance.

The mesh is very fine -- exactly what I was hoping for to cover ...
Case manufacturers should take note of the quality of these filters. The mesh is very fine -- exactly what I was hoping for to cover the top fan mount of my NZXT S340 -- and the filter blends in perfectly, even with the small Thermaltake logo facing out. The strength of the magnetic frame is adequate, and the frame does not need to be screwed into a fan to stay in place when building. However, without screws, the filter can be nudged out of place with minimal effort. Depending on the susceptibility of your computer to pets or kids, you may want to be sure you pair this with a 140mm fan to make use of the screw holes. My only complaint is that with premium quality comes a hefty, premium price. It looks absolutely great on the outside of my case, but if you're going to have this hidden away, you might as well just make a cheap DIY version.

Bent after 4 months
Everything was going well, but less than 4 months later the edges bent and the magnet would not hold. My picture shows its current state, which is the result of my trying to bend it back (the original bend was far more severe). The magnet at the area where it is lifted from the case no longer functions, certainly not against the force of the bent edge (even pressing it against the case does not cause the magnet to hold). This is in a cool, dry environment, so I am not sure what would cause it to bend like that. For $10 or whatever it was I guess it was such quality issues can be expected. As it is I am accepting of its current state, mainly due to not wanting to spend more money, and a feeling that it still functions adequately. If it bends any worse I will buy another and see if it holds out better.

Magnet was not effective on a Thermaltake case
The magnet does not work very well, I ended up having to ziptie it to my tower under the case cover. It seems to work very well for many other reviewers, though, don't be dissuaded from purchasing it. This is a very good quality dust filter, and the idea is as simple as it gets. It should allow the user to easily remove the dust filter and allow the user to clean it and remount it without using any tools. The fan filter should adhere to the case using only the magnetic border.I have a Thermaltake Versa N24 case and two 120mm intake fans. Used the screws that came with the case to install fans. The screwheads protrude from the case somewhat, and I wonder if I should just replace those screws with flat heads. If anyone has any suggestions about how the filters SHOULD be installed, definitely give me the tip. Every way I tried to install it did not effectively use the magnetized border.

Alright.... Needs better magnet.
Magnet was not strong enough to keep it in place on the side panel of my case (Fractal R5). But it has holes which I used to screw the fan on the inside keeping it place. Harder to clean properly but good enough.

Works exceptionally well!
This is wonderful! I have a CoolerMaster case with a side 140mm vent that has not filter on it. I have an intake fan there and really wanted to cut down on dust through that vent. No work to setup, just took it out of the package and slapped it on the case. Magnet is holding perfectly. The mesh is extremely fine but doesn't seem to be effecting airflow. I've only had it on a week or so and I've already cleaned dusk off it once and can verify it is doing its job. Being that it is on the outside of the case, it is extremely easy to clean, if only the rest of my filters were that easy to clean

No regrets
The holes line up with the holes in my fan, screen is the right size. My only slight issue is that the screen isn't as tight as it could be, so I had to put it on the outside of the fan grill otherwise the center of the fan would rub on the screen. Still though, it is doing the job!

by like, 2-3mm I would be able to use this
The edges are a little thick. If they were cut a little thinner, by like, 2-3mm I would be able to use this. I have 3 cases, and they will not fit anywhere outside or inside. The only save here, is to attach them to the inside of the case. Attaching these to the inside of intake fans defeats the purpose of having them at all. While I believe they will work for some cases, like a Cross Desk or P3, they will not work for my rigs. Sad face.

Excellent product. Perfectly fits Fractal Define S case.
Fits perfect on the side of the Fractal Define S case, almost like it was made for it. It is a very fine mesh despite looking fairly porous in the photo. The magnet frame is not strong, which is the only downside, but nonetheless holds well enough.

Nice.
Good. I think the Silverstone one is a tad stronger magnetically, but I have one of each and I'm happy with both.
