Great for the money and you can sell golf balls and keep on
Great piece of equipment the ponds gotta have a sand bottom though you get a lot of milk, but yeah you’ll get golf balls up with that thing

Amazing retriever if you use it right!
Ok look - this is not a ball retriever meant for some pond that is basically a lake bottom. This is meant to use in an artificial pond found on some golf courses that have the lined bottoms with the circulating pumps for water. IF you use this retriever in those circumstances, this things is PERFECT for it and it works AWESOME. Just like some other reviewers said, don't get in a hurry, pull slow and low and this will reward you with many, many golf balls. One bit of advice is to definitely reinforce the dog-clips with a zip tie to make sure in case the dog-clips break because they are pretty cheaply made. Other than that, it works fantastically. I have used it once so far and raked in about 60 balls in 20 minutes or less! Happy fishing everyone! :)

Poor quality
In a perfect world where stones, weeds, or other debris do not exist in golf course ponds, this would be great. I was excited to use this. I threw it 6 times, 1 golf ball, but snagged something on the last throw. As soon as i felt the resistance of what was on the other end i knew i would not see the orange basket again. Just needs better quality lanyars and clasps. Great idea though. 1 in 6 is not bad if I was able to keep using. Big ole bummer

Good Buy
Will definitely beef up the clips somehow, BUT we found a dozen good balls in our first 5 rushed throws today so it will pay for itself quickly.

Durability is poor, but it does the job.
I have only used this twice. Does a great job picking up balls that most people can’t get to as well as one you can’t see. Strap is very poorly made and sewn for the price of the tool as you can see it in the images. If I’m going continue to use this and not lose it, I’m going to have to either re-sow it or Change out for a rope or something and new clips.

Paid for itself in 20 min
Bought this as a gift for my FIL - he lives on a course with a water hazard, we walked down to the pond and within 20-30 min we half-filled a 5 gal bucket. the pond is sandy bottom so not much to snag it on, and you do catch a few sticks and pond slime but does a great job! the strap is a little flimsy and in my opinion about 15' too short, but it is easy enough to make those modifications.
