Very good
I don’t think this is rubber. It’s very slippery and doesn’t adhere to the wall Good when you’re trying to rub your back. I can make it work so I’m gonna keep it, but it is less than I expected. After using it a couple of days, the slippery is not there. It works great on the back against a wall. It is wider than regular peanuts and does more of and for the back. I’m thinking about getting another one to take to the gym.

Good enough for me
I have tried on of these that had the vibrating feature. I liked the pressure on my back muscles, but didn't really get any benefit to the vibrations. And I didn't want to spend an extra $40+ dollars on the vibrating function. This was perfect and at a good price. Sturdy enough for me and my back. Stickers on the side have come off, but doesn't affect the functionality of it.

Kinda tall, a little hard, otherwise a good value
Its not bad. The foam is kind of stiff and its a little tall for my needs. Rolling on a thick mat can help if it's too tall for you, too. Bumps are a little uncomfortable, if it was smooth and softer I think it'd work better for me. Ymmv.

Effective
I have had back surgery at L4/L5 after repeated disc herniation. I still have pain in my lower lumbar area from time to time as well as tightness in my muscles. I have found that laying on my bed with this peanut massage ball under my back helps stretch aching muscles. I am also aware of movement in my spine that also helps quite a bit. If you want to really stretch things lay on the floor instead of the bed. That can be a little uncomfortable at first.

Too hard, asymetrical
Much harder than I expected. If this was the hardness of rubber, like a thick tire it would be useful. It's hard plastic though. I am not a sports person, I am trying to help loosen my back muscles after a surgery left them permanently grinked. It might work better on a tougher person. One side bigger than the other is also akward, maybe there's a reason for it?
