A wrench was provided to tighten the castor wheel mounts at the bottom, but you'll need your own Phillips head screwdriver to connect the mounting hardware to the two hanger bars. My only reservation was with the lock levers on the wheels; they are large and easy to use, but they can catch on the carpet in the room I'm using the clothes hanger in, sometimes making it a bit awkward to move. I don't expect to have to move it very much, though.
