The pillow is comfortable. It is soft, yet firm. I got this specifically for recovery from spinal surgery and it is helping me with sitting up and having support on my back.

My husband had a back pillow like this for many years. He used it so much that it was literally disintegrating ... the cover material falling apart, the stuffing coming out. He was so pleased to receive this pillow for our anniversary this year. It has been used every evening since. When it arrived in a smallish box, I was confused as to how they managed to stuff that big pillow into that little package. Vacuum packaging was the answer, and it was as much fun watching him open it, and the pillow inflate, as it was seeing him (once it had fully inflated) enjoy using it at TV time. There's no work involved in getting it to full capacity. You just set it out in its normal shape and let it sit. It does take about a day to reach its full inflation and firmness. Once it has done so, it's even more amazing that it came in a box a quarter of its size. So far, so good. It appears to be durable, well-designed as far as shape and size, and he says it's very comfortable. Some reviewers complained about an odor, but we didn't detect anything unpleasant. If anything, it smelled slightly like the plastic packaging for the first day, but that's all. It's quite firm enough but also soft enough to be comfortable, and holds up to him leaning back against it. Considering its very reasonable price, compared to other similar products, I think we got a good pillow for our money. I don't think we'll have any complaints, but if we should see a problem in the future, I'll edit this review to mention it.

Overall, this is a great pillow! It’s very comfortable for long hours of sitting, the support is good, and the cover is thicker and softer than I expected. The color matches the picture perfectly. I bought this for my boyfriend to use while gaming, and he says he loves it. He just wishes the arms were a little stiffer and tucked in more. (He’s 5’9” for reference.) When you first open it, there’s a slight odor, but we washed the cover before using it and it came right out. Putting it back on wasn’t too bad either.

My husband loves this thing!! He uses it every night! Super fluffy and did not deflate or flatten and he has had it for months! It sis super efficient while sitting in bed and isn’t oversized. Plus my husband is on the huskier side and he never goes without it.

The pillow has a high back, the arms have pockets and it's comfortable. The packaging is deceiving, the box is smaller than expected for the size of the product. Very happy with this purchase.

Ok, So I have had this pillow for almost 3 months now and I will explain why 3 stars. This pillow is very comfy and sturdy. I love the 2 little side pockets it has as well, great to stowaway my vapes and know where they are at, at all times lol. The pillow has kept its shape so far and I use it everyday and night. I actually have been using it to sleep as well. since I fall asleep watching a documentary on my laptop, it has been great for that purpose. It also feels almost weightless when you pick it up. I dont remember how it smelled when I opened it but I think I remember it smelling like a factory almost lol But now it just smells like my room and my essential oil lol. Why I have it 3 stars is because the zipper will break if I attempt to remove the cover to wash it. I just went to wash it for the first time a month ago and I had this issue and as im washing my bedding now, it was brought back to my attention..ughh and its frustrating that I am going to have all clean linen on my bed...except for the pillow case due to a defect in the zipper. I cannot get it undone as I have attempted. So my only option is to apply more force which could potentially break the zipper and then I will be owning a nice pillow without a cover. Which being able to remove the cover to wash it was a huge selling point for me in making this purchase in the begin with so thats why that defect is causing this effect in the review. If it were not for the zipper, I would have rated this item with 5 stars due to its pricing and other qualities. Also just to confirm another point THE PILLOW IS FIRM AND NOT TOO SOFT AND DOES HAVE A LITTLE WEIGHT TO IT**** the material is also nicely done.

Way better than expected. Perfect size. Stuck it in the dryer to help speed up the fluff time and it worked great! Good quality too

Very comfortable but still droops even though I have used a blow dryer and also fluffed it in the clothes dryer.

The Reading Pillow is well-made and comfortable. I got the L (20"), and it's a good size for me, 6'1", 184 lbs male. The pillow is well stuffed with fillers, which were a bit too stiff for me. After taking out some fillers, it became perfectly moulded to my body. The outer fabric is very smooth on the skin.

Re-inflates well and looks good, But hard as rock. Too hard to send back. Massive amount of plastic packaging. Shocking!
