After rinsing it’s worth soaking the rice in little water for about 20 mins then mix it with some jasmine rice. My ratio is 1/3 cup of purple rice to a cup of jasmine rice. The quality of the grain is amazing and it cooks in about 15 mins if soaked enough. If in a rush I use the pressure cooker.
