this is just what i need to trim my long haired cat. it feels like quality steel. it cuts smoothly comes with two sets. has convenient rubber grip. would get again

very sharp blades and worked great on my dog. the rounded tips were great to protect my dog.

Second time purchasing. These scissors are very sharp and well made. The only reason I bought them again is that over years of use they aren’t as sharp and I have no idea how to sharpen them. I have a scissors sharpener but it’s not the same as new ones. They have lasted for at least 5 years though and haven’t rusted or broken in any way. Highly recommend.

If you could give half stars it would be 4 and a half. I'd say that is pretty dang good. I tested them out on my Cocker mix a few weeks ago and they cut through thick abundant hair without folding hair down or bogging up. They also did not pull his hair as I cut which he appreciated. He would like it even better if scissors or clippers never came anywhere near him <G>. I like the blunt tip as well. I was looking for a "beater" pair of scissors that I could use on his feet and legs when he was dirty (clumped with dried mud, burs, etc) and overly furry I didn't have time to bath him. I have three good Roseline scissors that I use on him when he is fairly clean. Dirty hair dulls scissors faster so it is cheaper in the long run to use cheaper scissors if you don't have time to bath. My smaller Roseline scissors are comparable is size and shape (ball tipped). They are finer and narrower so they work better between paw pads, they are also sharper, better for fine tuning and are made out of German steel. These are more clunky and wider so harder to get in tight spaces. There is nothing wrong with them though. I probably would have given them 5 full stars if I didn't have my other scissors to compare them too. They far surpass my first pair of scissors from a beauty supply store. They wouldn't cut all of his hair (they would fold 1/2 and not cut) and pulled it and made him yip. You can not beat the price, especially since you get 2! Oh point of fact for left handed people, both work OK for me in my left hand! UPDATE: Still working well as of Nov. 2018. They only see use about 7-8 times a year. They don't beat my more expensive roseline sheers but you can't beat the price or quality. They are my beater sheers for when the hair is dirty and I don't want to unduly dull my more expensive ones. Update: June 2025 they are still working well as my beater scissors. I save my good ones for grooming on clean hair. I use them in-between haircuts and they work well with no problems. Oh for any lefties out there they work fine for me.

I’m happy with these scissors for cutting my dogs hair. He is an Australian shepherd, corgi mix. He has lots of hair from the aussie side and a double under cote from both breeds. It doesn’t pull or snag his hair and cuts through nicely. Its weight is and durability is comfortable. I got the blue color set and it’s pretty. They look like just what’s in the advertisement.

I have a Newfoundland puppy, I don't fully groom him (I'll leave that to the pro's) but the hair in between his pawpads grows FAST, and I have to keep it trimmed out so he doesn't slide around and risk wear on his growing joints. I had a pair of old grooming scissors that had come with a pair of grooming clippers I bought years ago for another dog. I've been making them work, but they got so dull that they don't even work and make the whole job 100 times harder than it needed to be. Bought these and had them delivered overnight, and got all 4 of his paws trimmed out in under 10 minutes, so sharp and fast, super appreciate the rounded ends for safety (especially since he has webbed feet) — great buy for the price.

These scissors are comfortable to use and ideal for small areas and around eyes given their rounded tips. They seem good quality (made in Taiwan) and represent good value for money.
