Sigdal Bakeri Gluten Free Oats Wholegrain Crispbread 8.29 oz Bags - Pack of 12

I had Sigdal Bakeri Oats Crispbread for the first time at a gathering recently. Immediately I knew this was one, delicious cracker/bread, and I had to find the package somewhere in order to share with my wife and my daughter. I took a picture of the package and decided to look for it. Since I had neither time nor inclination to go around health food stores, I went to Amazon and bought an entire case of it - 12 of them! When the package arrived, my wife was surprised that I'd bought so many, but I told her, "Trust me, we will eat them all in no time." Well, within two months, they're all gone. To counter this brand, my wife looked for a competing Norwegian brand oat crispbread. It doesn't compare. What is so inviting are the combination of seeds, crispiness and the flavor that fills your mouth with every bite. It makes you almost want more and more. But you can stop - it's not an urge like you have to finish that package (it's too much!), yet the pleasure of eating it is very satisfying. Perhaps to a Norwegian's horror, since this was the first time we've had anything like this, and since we have no idea how this is consumed in the native land, we've put peanut butter, cheese, jam and other spreads. They make good filling snacks, but these toppings tend to overpower the delicate flavor which is enough to enjoy on its own. Gluten-free or not, it is simply delicious. I see that Sigdal brand has many different types of crispbread. I would very much like to try them all to see if they are just as good, but on Amazon, they only seem to come in boxes of 12 packages of the same kind, and I can't take the chances. I wish amazon offered a "sampler" box of 1 of each package or something like it. Otherwise, it would be nice to be able to buy less quantity, like a package of 3 or 4.

So tasty for a gluten free product! I discovered these in Norway when I used them to pack a cheese sandwich for my daily hikes. I put my cracker and cheese sandwich in a small plastic box and the cracker was still intact for my hiking lunches.

I absolute LOVE these crackers They are tasty, crispy and delicious. I was buying them locally but could not find them anymore so bought the 4 pack on Amazon. Usually Amazon will send a big box with packing material for an item. When mine finally arrived there were 4 packages in a thin plastic bag that someone had slapped a shipping label on. I was so disappointed. The crackers were broken and in crumbs. AND of course it said no returns. Well I opened all four bags and separated whole crackers, half crackers, big pieces, small pieces and crumbs. The small pieces are good with a bite of cheese. I found out the crumbs are really good in salads or sprinkled on soup since they stay crispy. Where can I get some shipped in a box with packing material instead of a plain plastic bag? Please tell whoever is shipping these to put them in a box. It looks like I am not the only one who had this problem.

I am on a low carb diet and I was really missing bread. I discovered these Norwegian crisp breads. They come in several flavors. I prefer the oat one the best. They taste really good and they satisfy my craving for carbs. I put all kinds of things on them, savory and sweet. Very versatile! I use them at meal time and also for snacks. Highly recommend!

The crispbreads are very tasty, but they were broken into hundreds of pieces. They were not in a box, but came in see through plastic with no protection. You could see that they were broken without opening it. They were very pricey and apparently are not returnable. I don’t know how to upload a picture. They were delivered in 110 degree heat. They needed to be packaged properly, especially a product like crispbread.

I more or less live on these delicious gluten free crackers! Everything that used to be a sandwich now ends up between two crackers. They are by far the most delicious gluten free cracker that you can buy! Given how hard they are to find for sale don’t hesitate to buy from Amazon. They are fresh and date-stamped and make living gluten-free much more enjoyable!

They're sooo good. Nicely crisp. Filling. They take a smear of cream cheese and sliced fruit like a champ, but are also fantastic with ham and cheese. I will definitely buy them again. I've had to put them on the top shelves to be out of sight to keep from eating them all up.
