The media could not be loaded.  I've been thinking about getting a robot for a couple of years now. Kept postponing due to high cost. I've researched info on various brands and models, watched dozens of videos comparing different vacuums. In the end, I got convinced to go for this one, thanks to a review on youtube where this vacuum and Roomba 980 were put to 6 tests. This one won on 4 out of 6 tests, with a very small difference on the other 2 tests. Seeing the difference in price tags, I would have gone for this one even if the two vacuums had gotten similar results.Anyway, my Wall-E arrived yesterday, so we immediately put it to the test. As you can see from the attached video, our cat was very suspicious 😂. I barely touched him when he wasn't expecting (he was focused on the vacuum cleaner) and the poor thing jumped and ran like a bullet. Back to Wall-E. I can't give a very comprehensive review yet, need to use it longer. What I can say, for now, is that we're impressed with the mess (dust and cat hair) we emptied once it was done! And we only used the Balanced setting! It has four settings: Quiet, Balanced, Turbo and Full Speed. Will try all of them in the days to come.What we liked so far:- it was easy to set up and connect to wifi- not very noisy, makes much less noise compared to our normal vacuum- quite organized and thorough (we were expecting it to clean randomly)- it has a joystick control feature - basically you can control where it goes - awesome!- it saves a map of the house after the first cleaning session- the spot cleaning feature (useful when you spill something on the floor or when you have a particularly dirty area)- if it gets stuck, you get an error notification on your mobile (there's an app you have to install, then connect your phone to the robot). I could fix the errors via the app (just pressed Clean and it continued)- it's particularly brilliant on hard floor, though it did a great job on the rugs as well. It struggled a bit to climb on a high pile rug we have, but it persevered and won :-)- you can schedule it to clean- you can activate it through the app remotely. Say you're at work and want to find the house clean, just press a button and voilà! 🙂- it cleaned cat hairs and cat litter sand beautifully. Cat owners will know how "pleasant" it is to step in those little stones!TIP: if you're in Europe, select Singapore as location. We chose Ireland first and we couldn't connect the phone to the robot. We then chose Mainland China, as suggested on forums. We managed to connect the phone to it, but some features were missing (house map, joystick control, cleaning schedule). We finally changed the location to Singapore and we now have all the features.In conclusion, is it worth the price? In my opinion, definitely. I'd rather use that time to read a good book or cook a healthy meal. Or enjoy a nice walk. You can do anything else, really. 🙂

I don’t normally bother writing reviews, but have had this vacuum for nearly two years and it is fantastic!! We have a large, hard surface floor plan and this little beauty navigates it really well!We have never used the app for this because it just gets on with it by itself.A toy got caught in the roller at one point and it cracked the roller housing, but parts are really easy to get on Amazon and not very expensive.It’s great on carpet too, but does not really have enough welly to pick up cat fur if trodden into fibres.I would happily get another on of these should this pack up.

Really easy to setup. Works really well! Great piece of kit to rival £800 robot vacuums for sale in the UK.

It give me a new chance to have a clean wooden floor.

Short review: look no further this is the robot you want.Long review: I trailed every single brand of robot vacuum, from the cheapest eco brand to the top of the price range dyson and this Xiaomi is by far the best robot vacuum available today.It maps like a dream and automatically goes back to charge, can get over large bumps and steps (where stains couldn’t) has extremely good suction (it’s an actual vacuum) let’s you set a schedule via the app and the parts that need replacing after a lot of use (sidebar and filter) are really cheap on eBay.If you’re looking at a robot vacuum then look no further. This is the Apple of robot vacs!

Bought this after my old Roomba broke - 6 months on haven't looked back! love this robot and works much more efficiently and effectively than my previous Roomba!
