I've been dealing with gastritis and potentially H. Pylori + SIBO for the past few months and this product has surprisingly helped! I noticed the anti-inflammatory properties right away after drinking my first does and it actually helped clear some upper respiratory inflammation and throat inflammation. This may be TMI but my stool was a bit thin prior to taking this but began to return to normal size after a few days of using this alongside Pantoprazole (which I had been taking it for a month prior, so the only change was this product), and some of the mild pains I had throughout my bowels went away as well. As for the flavor its really not bad and far from something horrible like the cough medicine you'd have to take as a kid. It tastes like a diet peach Snapple but the texture is a bit pasty and slightly gooey. I'd talk half a dose 15 minutes before eating and the last dose an hour before bedtime alongside a light snack. It's a bit pricey but if you've been dealing with a lot of digestive issues including gastritis I would absolutely give this a shot!

I started using this product upon recommendation from a new (integrative) doctor I started seeing. I've been working on healing from rather severe gut dysbiosis and leaky gut for several months. I was seeing and feeling improvement with only a change in diet (GAPS diet), but it is very slow progress. Upon taking this supplement I noticed a difference after just a few days. I thought there was no way it could work so quickly and that I must have been experiencing a placebo effect, so I stopped taking it. I repeated this "experiment" twice, and each time I felt a very noticable worsening of both physical and psychological symptoms. Each time, within a day or two of starting up again, my symptoms improved significantly. It's sort of expensive, especially because I take more than the recommended dose of 1-2 tsp a day. But I feel such improvement and relief that it's worth the investment. I should mention that I've tried taking some of these ingredients (NAG, l-glutamine, carnosine, etc) as individual supplements, because the GI Revive is so expensive. Unfortunately, I don't get the same results or anywhere close. This is truly the only leaky gut supplement I've found that has had any real results for me. A brief note on the taste, for anyone who is interested: It is peach flavored and sweetened with stevia. It's a bit too sweet for my liking, but it's not something that bothers me terribly. All in all, it's a terrific product. The list of ingredients is impressive, and I highly recommend this for anyone suffering from any type of GI distress.

put it in a smoothie and all is good. There are so many healing properties to this powder and it should be judged for this as well, not just the overly sweet component. You should try he sun powder that is flavorless. Very bitter, but again it's meant to protect your skin.

Very sweet and overpowering flavor when mixed with other essential supplements. But adding this to my routine, definitely makes my stomach hurt and bloated like indigestion. I definitely was not expecting that with this over rated and inflated and hyped reviews on this product. I would not recommend this product, this did not agree with me.

I have Barrett's Esophagus and do several things to keep my 'gut' healthy. This is one of the mainstays for my gut health. I have used it for several years and highly recommend it.

I have been using prilosec for GERD for years and had hoped that using this product would allow me to switch off prilosec. I have never hurt so bad or been so miserable in my entire life. The first 48 hours after switching were okay, and then it hit. I thought I was going to die. I did nothing but throw up and have violent coughing for the next 4 days. This did not help at all. So if you are looking for a product to eliminate prilosec, be cautious. It did however, taste fine and was easy to use. If I didn't have such horrific GERD then it probably would have been good to use for mild or occasional reflux problems. I give a canine version to my dog and it helps him which i why I tried it.

Not a supplement person, but after seeing a functional medicine doctor for a medical issue that I haven't been able to get to the root cause was recommended I get on a few supplements including this. I was very skeptical, but I am willing to try almost anything within reason at least once. It works! I've been on it a month now and have seen significant changes in bloating and just like a weird stomach feeling. I never had constipation issues or anything like that but always bloated issues. The taste is gross! If you notice your nauseous with it drink more water! I was told to drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and the first day was rough. I put it in a protein shaker bottle to make sure to dissolve it and interchange between drinking it and water and it helps like one sip for one sip. More water also helps with the taste because it's nasty but the more water the better the dilute. I put 4 stars because the taste and price. It is pricey sadly. I figure I would use this product for 3-6 months and then use a cheaper probably less ingredients or quality one as maintenance. The goal in my mind is not to be on these supplements forever but to get your body back to the right point where whole foods can supply what you need.

This product contains PORK mucin . They mention that in Uk and eu lablelled products but for the UAE market where many people are Muslims and need to know this they don’t mention it. Why not mention the source of the mucin clearly ?

Very good product for gut repair !

Excellent product, felt the positive impact the very first time I took it! Taking 2 teaspoons in the morning works best for me. Taking it in the afternoon and the evening, didn't work and caused my blood pressure to rise. The licorice is the DGL form so do not know what caused it. Experiment and find what the right dose for you is and the best time to take it.

This is a very good all around product and taste great. Works for me. Pricey but worth it
