Super deal on a very good knife.
Large and well made kukri type knife, very sharp. The sheath is average, but the knife is very good quality. Got an excellent deal on this blade. Would definitely buy again.

Terrible sheath, fantastic knife!
I was quite impressed when this arrived, by the knife, not the sheath. Flimsy and not well made sheath, and frankly, a bad design. The snap lock ring high up on the handle is an outdated design. The better option would have been an over the top front snap design. Furthermore the strip at the top has 1 single rivet holding in place...this blade deserves a proper sheath. I'll have a custom leather sheath made for it at some point Sturdy, full tang blade, with a really nice riveted handle. Very smooth and a pleasure to wield, has good balance and weight, and is a very nice blade for the price. It's a beautiful knife! Highly recommended!

Good, sharp, comfortable, just a touch of "mall ninja store" vide that makes it feel cheap
So overall I really like this blade. It seems well made, feels good in the hand, and is pretty sharp out of the box. It could use to be a tad more rounded off in the features at the base (pommel?) of the blade, as they are a little too square and bit into the hand more than I'd prefer (nothing too bad, but could be better). I'm happy that it comes with a belt sheath, thought that is also what brings it down a touch, in my book. The sheath especially just gives off a little too much of a "cheapo" vibe, as it is very squared off, basically stamped, and too bright for real leather. It just gives off a bit of "mall ninja store" vibes; best way I can describe it. So, overall, I like the feel of this, and look forward to actually using it "in the field". I think it will hold up.

A bit of a let-down
For an American made knife, this is a bit of a let-down. For the size of this type knife, I was expecting a knife with nearly twice the weight and heft of this thing. For a chopper, this thing is extremely light. The handle does not feel good in my hand and I spent several minutes trying to find the sweet spot for my grip but I just could not find one. I think for me, the scales will have to be removed and replaced with wider scales to eliminate the twisting sensation Iโm experiencing with this knifeโs grip. I wear a large size glove so my hands arenโt all that big, but the handle on this kukri feels way small for me. The sheath seems like it was made for a knife with a much wider blade as this knife seems to flop around inside it until the quillon is fully seated. I feel this may make a nice conversation piece, but for utility purposes, it seems to miss the mark. Iโll stick to my 50+ year old trusty Bowie knife (that weighs twice what this one does) for field use and leave this one in the display case where it wonโt get hurt. It's a good looking knife, but it takes more than looks to "KEAL".

Soooo cool
This knife is top-notch. Very sharp straight Out of the box, and all of the fit and finish is very nice. You can tell it was handmade with great attention to detail. All of the grinds and bevels and spine alignment is perfect. It was definitely made by somebody who knew what they were doing. It has a very good weight to it and feels very comfortable in the hand. With the quality of this knife I cannot believe the price tag, definitely worth it. I actually liked this one so much that I bought another knife from the same shop to match it.

Beautiful.
Ok, so when am I actually going to use a blade like this in my everyday life? Who cares! It's beautiful! Very well crafted, sharp enough, and feels good in hand. I have 3 other blades by this blade maker, and they seem to put a little more into the quality than some. For my needs, (collecting blades), it's perfect. They even put a hole in the proper spot for a wrist lanyarn. Couldn't ask for more for this prriceline. TADA!

Not a bad knife for the price.
Came with a nicely detailed, embossed sheath made out of thick leather. Blade is sharp, and the weight is heavy enough for chopping small branches. We'll see how it holds up over time.
