How to stop the seconds from blinking

I don't think you can I think it's another way to show the seconds ticking

My watch doesn't work, the dials on it work, but the bits in the centre don't or the buttons on the side either

Chances are the battery needs to be replaced. I believe this watch takes 2 batteries, one for the digital part of the watch and one for the conventional dual. Hope this helps.

how many alarm settings

Hourly chime, plus it can be set to an an alarm at any time. Heavy watch. Probably Infantry working
