Dermalogica Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream 15ml | Peptide eye cream that helps lift, firm and smooth the look of the eye area.

My eyes are very problematic, as in my eyelids droop and my under eye areas are heavily bagged, puffy, wrinkly and have dark circles. I was therefore really keen to give the Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream 15ml a go. First off, realistic expectations are a must. No cream is going to perform miracles and I have to be honest, I was really sceptical about the lifting the eyelid claims. My eyelids actually droop more than the model used on the product description page, so lifting them is no mean feat. The cream feels a sticky when first applied but this sensation disappears once it's absorbed into the skin. I do seem to see an instant result in that my eyelids slightly lift, probably like the model's 'before' picture. I also apply a little under the eyes, and I've noticed the dark circles seem to brighten. In fact, I've used dozens of 'eye brightening creams' in the past and this by far gives me the best results, despite the fact the cream is designed for droopy eyes rather than the under eye area. The instructions state to use daily twice a day for best results. I would sorely love to do this, but due to the price point unfortunately this not financially viable for me personally at this time, so I only use it for nights out and special occasions. If I was more comfortably off financially, I pretty sure this would be a staple part of my daily skincare routine. This is by no means a miracle product (I've yet to find one), but it's the best eye cream I've used to date. I don't have sensitive skin so this isn't something I personally need to consider when selecting skin care products, but suffice to say I've had no issues using the cream. Results from beauty products vary widely from person to person and what works well for one may not work at all for another. It is a matter of trial and error to find what works best for each individual. My own personal experience of using the Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream has been extremely positive so far.

Wrinkles looks worse after applying cram. Dark circles looked darker. Would not recommend to anyone especially for that price. Waste of your money.

So I'm not into skin care or beauty treatments but my wife is, and Dermalogica is a brand that she has used - it is often in those beauty advent calendars that you pay an absolute fortune for around Xmas time. The glory that is Vine offered up the Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream so I nabbed it for my better half. As with all beauty products this teeny tiny bottle or whatever arrives that absolutely does not look like it is worth any where near the asking price. This thing is tiny - 15ml so you'd be forgiven for feeling pangs of anxiety. HOWEVER, as I've since learnt over the years that when it comes to beauty products "a little goes a long way". So anyway, I've been told that this cream is "awesome", it feels thick but goes on smoothly and is absorbed by the skin around the eyes readily and easily, without leaving any sticky residue or anything. Although it is very early days still it does appear to have an effect, whether it is lasting or actually real rather than some part of my brain is trying to convince me that this thing works I don't know, but it appears to be doing something - making the skin feel and look smoother. Still, time will tell on this one, but so far so good...

Full disclosure, I'm going to be quite tough on this product given its price. I must also declare than I'm male, so I'm not really the target market. Having reviewed similar beauty products before, I went into reviewing this Dermalogica Phyto Nature Eye Lifting Cream as a sceptic, and after using it for a couple of weeks, I'm still rather sceptical, though I will admit that it is effective. As you would expect from a big brand like Dermalogica, the cream comes well presented. The 15ml pump bottle is quite small, but stylish and nicely made. The cream has a pearly, silky, non-greasy feel. It's quite light and fresh feeling on the skin. You generally only need one pump per application. The big question is, "Does it work?" Well, the answer is yes, but with caveats. This cream is supposed to lift and tighten skin around the eyes. I'm in my 40s and have decent skin. Like most people of my age, I have early crows feet, a few wrinkles and the beginnings of sagging skin under the eyes. This cream does appear to help with that. My skin definitely felt smoother, a little tighter, and the fine lines were less noticeable. But, and this is a big but, I'm not the kind of person that has a very regular skin care regime. I wash my face twice daily and apply moisturiser now and again. So, I do feel that adhering to a daily moisturising regime would yield similar results. There's a lot of clever marketing and spurious "science" that goes on with all beauty products. Notice that Dermalogica's "clinical proof" says tests were carried out on only 31 people over 8 weeks. Not exactly a thorough clinical test! "Clinical proof" claims are often on quite shaky ground like this. Let's be honest, this is a very expensive product. Yes, it does work, but I don't feel it's really doing anything miraculous enough, or anything significantly different from a moisturiser, to warrant its high price. A quick check on the box reveals the main ingredient is water, which gives you a clue as to how much it must cost to manufacture. It's just a good quality, very expensive moisturiser, in my opinion. If it was half the price, I may have been kinder on it, but as it is, I can't in all good conscience justify giving it a glowing 5 star review. The price simply can't be justified, in my opinion. If you're lucky enough to be able to afford it, by all means try it. For anyone else though, stick to a regular cleanse/tone/moisturise regime and save your money.

This comes boxed, with outer packaging and then the main box itself, giving it a fancier vibe. The cream itself is in a neat 15ml plastic bottle that looks quite swish, with a press down pump under the cap. This is designed to essentially be an anti-ageing cream to lift and firm, smooth and reduce lines and wrinkles, and hydrate the skin. A mix of interesting and more natural ingredients help accomplish this, like multi peptides, quinoa seed extract, electric daisy and astragalus. The cream comes out white and quite rich. It’s a lovely smooth consistency despite being fairly thick and I’ve found I only need a little bit to cover both eye areas. I gently massage it in and it smoothes over skin nicely. It absorbs quickly but I have noticed it leaves a little greasiness on top. It’s not a huge deal and it doesn’t look shiny, I’ve just found a sheen if I brush a finger over my eye an hour later that there’s some shine from residue. It doesn’t bother me and I’m happy enough with that because it has nourished my skin nicely. It does feel quite relieving when it’s on if you have dry skin and/or tired eyes. I’ve found it moisturises well and probably does help to brighten and open up the eye area a little. After a couple of days, the lines at the side of my eyes (laughter lines of the eyes or crowfeet, but only gentle fine lines as opposed to deep wrinkles) looked smoothed out a touch. My skin can get quite dehydrated these days despite moisturising so I think this has really helped to nourish the skin around my eyes, where I often neglect in my daily skincare routine. It usually takes a good number of weeks (if not months) of regular use of such products to see more noticeable, long term benefits to deeper lines and wrinkles, and while it’s early days for me yet using this cream, it’s amazing to see some improvement in only a matter of days. The price seems rather excessive at £115 (at the time of writing). It’s sadly very far out of my budget for skincare, especially for an eye cream. However… if it’s affordable and within your budget, I’d say it’s a very good eye cream and a worthwhile investment. All in all, I’d say this is a lovely rich cream to use and it beautifully hydrates and nourishes the eye area, making a a small but noticeable difference for me in a couple of days. Really love this one!

Tired-looking, fine lines and dark circles are some of my under-the-eye skin concerns, so I was excited to try this cream. Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream has a thick buttery rich creamy texture and glides smoothly as you apply. It feels luxurious it’s super nourishing and hydrating. I love that this eye cream comes in an airtight pump. It’s easy to control the amount that comes out, and you don’t need to use a lot to cover the entire eye area. Just one tiny pump per eye and gently pat to blend. After using it for the past week my under eyes look slightly brighter and skin tone more even. It doesn’t interfere with my makeup application and it actually makes it look better. As for fine lines and wrinkles, I can see a slight reduction but to see a full effect I'm continuing use to see further results. I do recommend this eye cream if you are in your budget.

This is the best eye cream I have ever used - and believe me I have tried many. Although it seems expensive you only need a very small amount ie a grain of rice size for each eye. Because of the small quantity needed each tube lasts between three and four months if used twice daily. Within a week of using it the fine lines around my eyes and the shadows underneath had visibly reduced - even my boyfriend commented on how fresh I looked and he didn't notice when I had had eyelash extensions done!! My advice is give it a try.

Oh mein Gott, was soll ich sagen, das hier ist Highend und man bekommt hier auf jeden Fall eine Hammer Augen Pflege die leider nicht ganz günstig ist, die aber bereits nach dem ersten eincremen schon ein top Ergebnis macht. Man sieht bereits nach einer Anwendung ein geniales Ergebnis rund um die Augen. So eine Konsistenz einer Augen Creme hatte ich ebenfalls noch nie. Diese Augenpflege ist wie ein Balsam was durch die eigene Körperwärme auf der Haut verschmilzt und seine Wirkung entfacht. Leider muss man sagen, dass die Creme aufgrund ihrer tollen Pflegeeigenschaft und Konsistenz nicht unbedingt geeignet ist wenn es morgens schnell gehen muss. Die Pflege benötigt ihre Zeit. Wenn man Ihr diese Zeit gibt dann aber hat man so ein krasses Ergebnis. Eine geplättet und super gepflegte Augenpartie. Diese Creme werde ich mir trotz des hohen Preises wieder kaufen. Aktuell nutze ich die Creme nur Abends und bin schon gespannt wie sie meine Augenpartie verändern wird mit der Zeit.

The Dermalogica product line really is the best, and this eye cream is no exception. A little goes a long way, and the best part is being able to apply it to the eyelid / orbital eye area. No burning and no stinging if you happen to get a little in your eyes. Yes, it’s a bit pricey - but it will last for a long time!
