Not a bad little doorbell. I didn’t want a plug-in style because I dint have enough plugs in the house as it is, so I got this. It works well. I don’t have a big house so I can’t say what the range is and the receiver is just behind the door, but it’s loud and works with every press. It comes with a nifty little bracket to hang it up and although two screws to mount it is complete overkill for the amount it weighs, it’s nice to have it. There’s about a million tunes inside it as well, but unless you’re completely bereft of taste and decency, you’ll end up going for one of the two doorbell chimes which are loud and clear. Otherwise you end up having to listen to half of Greensleeves or Pachelbels Canon every time your positive needs you to sign for something. The outer bell push comes with a little sticky pad so is super-easy and simple to fit, but you do need to pull it apart when you first get it to remove the little plastic tab which stops the battery being pressed during transit. Also comes with the batteries for the ringer unit, which is a nice touch. Highly recommended.

This was to replace an ancient doorbell that adult stopped working. I spent a while looking as not long before I'd received a free of charge one for review which exploded. So having looked at others reviews this one looked a safe option with the bell sound I like, namely simple ones. Also wireless as I don't want to run cables and like to move the receiver in summer when out in the garden. This one is reliable and was cheap and looks fine. I waited a few months before writing this to ensure I was happy with it still, and I am.

Good doorbell

Has a defunct doorbell for ages and finally decided to address the issue, as doorbell shopping isn't high on my "fun" list I pretty much plumped for the first one I saw, as it turns out a wise move indeed. The set up is so easy an ape could do it, put the supplied batteries in the receiver, stick the doorbell to the door using the adhesive pad and voila, one fully functioning doorbell. There are a ton of chimes to choose from and the volumn goes from ear splittingly loud to silent at the touch of a button. All in all a successful purchase.

Perfect for the shed at the end of the garden with no electric power. It works from front door, through 3 thick walls and over 50 meters down the garden. Lots of “door bell” sounds to choose from. The funniest one is the cockerel call - so realistic and audible that all the local cockerels started to cock a doodle do in response in the middle day! Funny but potentially confusing for the local livestock, so left set it to one of more traditional ding dong sounds.

Great product

Having read some negative earlier reviews of this bell I assume that the manufacturers have improved the product. It appears to be very well made, looks quite smart, and of good quality. Even included is a flat bladed "key" for accessing the bell push battery. Some of the tones are a bit naff, some bring a smile, but with 52 tones there is bound to be something for everyone and all situations. It is also very loud on top setting. Far better than the bell it replaced. A real value for money purchase.

Bought 2 devices because of the layout of my house. Had 2 plug in bells before but they didn't always work. Used the adhesive pad for the transmitter and wall mounted the 2 receivers. Easy to fit and easy to sync 2 receivers with the 1 transmitter. Have not tried all the chimes as ding dong is fine for now. Time will tell how long the batteries will last. All seems fine at the moment, fingures crossed.

Works great at 4 floors distance!

Older home didn’t have a door bell this works great for our house because we couldn’t hear people knocking. You get to choose the sound you like best. I purchased a second one for the basement so I could get my son’s attention without going all the way down. I just stuck it on the wall no tools needed

This doorbell is very easy to set up and works great! We put the receiver into a bowl and it amplifies the sound even more. The bowl can be carried to the back porch, the distance reception is that good. Plus, the selection of tunes is fun and includes choices for holidays. We have been using this doorbell for a couple of years and have changed the battery once.
