This is a quick shade item and works great! Easy with only 2 people as well.

Loved the shade and how easy it went up. Only lasted one day, afternoon wind came through pulled the stakes out and it broke in three places as I picked it up off the fence. Next I will look into getting some of the weighted bags to hold it in place better.

I live in a retirement community and in Texas the sun is always beating down on our heads. I ordered this canopy to stop some of that when a resident wants to have an outdoor luncheon or another wants to have a garage sale (but no garage). He has been a pleasure to see so many people enjoy one product. The one ordered is green but I would imagine they come in many different colors. It is easy to set-up and take-down. The price on this tent was well within the range I thought it should be. We have to be careful of the winds in this area of North Dallas because I don't think it would be stationary through some windstorms we have.....but it's not been put to the test yet.I think this is a good item if you have a need to temporarily cover something but I don't think I would leave it out over night.

No assembly required, but you definitely need some extra helping hands and some leverage would help. It took my mom and I about 35 minutes to get this tent up the first time. It was a real pain and I'm profusely sweating at this point. The canopy is also very heavy, but comes in a 2-wheeled carry case for ease. The wheels look pretty heavy duty, but the bag itself is pretty cheap and thin nylon and I'm pretty sure it'll rip within the year. The hardest part of the tent to get working is to lock the canopy skeleton in place. In theory, you just push the hinges until the metal button clicks into the red notch, but to actually make that happen took a lot of brute strength and even climbing a tall chair (which might not be available if you were on location) and standing above the canopy to get leverage to push down did the trick after several tries. It was exhausting. I am hopeful though that the next few times we assemble it, it will be a little looser. The height adjustment was pretty simple and straightforward, as was dissembling and putting it away.

I was imagining this for beach days, but it works better in the yard. Yes, it is portable, but it is also heavy. Yes, it is heavy, but it doesn't necessarily seem sturdy. I've used it several times without any issues, but it doesn't seem as sturdy as other canopies I've helped friends put up. Easiest to put up with 3 people at work but can be done with only 2 people. If you do take it to the beach, you'll need to devise a better way to tie it down--stakes, bags you fill with water. It doesn't come with anything to hold it down. It is quite large at 12X12, so your tie-down matters a great deal, or it will blow away in the wind (or bend and break?). The one day we used it at the beach wasn't windy at all, but we decided it's best for in the yard at home.

This is for beach time with Grandma and the little kids. The problem is always too much sun, and umbrellas can only cover so much. So, at last, we have a 12 by 12 area of shade that makes everyboidy happy. On it’s first outing, it was quick and easy to set up, and it stayed where it was put, despite a breeze. With quilts and blankets, this is perfect for nap time - for everybody! Easy to carry to the beach, too. We like to stay all afternoon un til the sun goes down, so, with our fire built on the perimeter, we were all very cozy - all seven of us! Great idea!

This was so easy to set up!My roommate and I brought it out into the backyard and had it up and working in under 10 minutes. With 3 people, it would've gone even faster.It comes with a really nice transport case WITH WHEELS, so it's super portable. Would be great for any event or camping. We're gonna leave it in the backyard--have already had a great time eating lunches out there.Comes with stakes as well if you're going somewhere windy.This is exactly what I wanted in a canopy.

It's a little flimsy--- we solved that with sand bags.But even the photo on the item shows a problem we had----it didn't block the sun, and the shade was behind us out of the frame of the canopy. Depending on the time of day you may or may not get full canopy. I found it funny that a photo of the item shows this very same phenomenon.
