Really good product for helping hands with grip. I use it primarily for use with gymnastic rings which I wouldn’t be able to use with out. I’ve used two other products in the past but this one is the best by far and the bottle has lasted me months. The two other products I’ve used i’ve had to top up my hands with chalk after ever set but not this. The product is that good I’ll only top up once or twice in awhole training session. Also the chalk washes off hands quick and easy with a bit of soap and water.

I previously bought the "Only Sports" liquid chalk, which is about 1/3rd of the price. However I left the bottle cap open for a few days and had to throw it away as it became a clump of hard chalk. Being a tube, it's harder to leave the cap open on this one!The main difference I notice is that the VIA chalk is a thicker paste when coming out of the tube, requiring more friction and rubbing to spread it around evenly and it doesn't come off as powder whilst working out. It was possible to get most of the "Only Sports" chalk off by vigorously rubbing my hands together but with VIA I had to wash it off with water. One benefit is less powder all over the place, but at the cost of being harder to remove.VIA Fortis offer 10% off the next order, and you may notice a few more Amazon reviews as they email a couple of weeks later asking for a review.

Apparently CTRL-X doesn't "cut" in the Amazon review window, it instead flushes everything you've written. So, you get a TL;DR version:1) Not small enough to get through security in a carryon. Put in plastic bag, but less mess prone than chalk block in plastic food container, important for protecting work clothes during travel. Fits nicely inside the Chucks you should have brought to deadlift in.2) Doesn't leave mess all over gym, will attract less attention from staff in places where you might be unsure of rules. Leaves clothes much cleaner if you are forced to wash shorts in a sink or something.3) Cleanup is easier than block chalk, if you see it's gone after washing, it's actually gone. No "surprises" noticing translucent calcium residue on the way to client after shower, etc.

I bought this chalk for my wife to use whilst doing Lyra and Silks. She has stated that the chalk is easy to apply and easy to wash off, it also affords great grip even in hot conditions with sweaty hands. She has sensitive skin and it does not effect her at all. The company reply to all questions quickly. Would buy again and have recommended to friends.

Only used a couple of liquid chalks in the past but since buying this I've returned again and again. I do a lot of weights in the gym and this seems to stay on my hands well giving good grip throughout. Quite thick so only need a small amount. First couple of time's of buying I found the top wouldn't close properly after a number of uses, leading to the chalk drying in the tube, however have discovered that if you keep the lid clear of chalk it closes properly avoiding this problem. Overall good product and would recommend

My first experience of chalk for lifting so i have nothing to compare it to. It does what I need, helps fantastically with grip and sweat, a little goes a really long way so I wont need to use my 10% off voucher any time soon.4stars because it after i have washed it off my hands, i then have to clean the equipment - it doesn't just brush off. (Although as I say, not used chalk before so this may be normal!)

Had to top it up after every set because it just seems to come of your hands way to easily and it is very flaky, I made a mess over the equipment and floor at the gym when using this. I purchased a cheaper alternative that works much better, I've used it a few times and now the rest of it will probably just go in the bin.It's not terrible as it does help with griping the bar, but just not really suitable as you have to keep topping it up which I don't think should be the case as I only need to use this for those heavier sets.

Only used this for deadlifts at the moment. Only need to used a little bit, it does keep your hands dry, it lasts for ages , it can be a little bit flaky but i used to much the first time , will adjust next time. Good all round buy.
