A hopeless bit of equipment! "Special Forces" my eye. Zip is useless. Draw cord will not pull it around your head effectively. Plus the price is extreme for a over large "bin bag"Should have returned it but didn't, why?

Mais pas d'inquiétude non plus car même si vous pouvez avoir l'impression de nager dedans vous pouvez resserrer le bout.J'ai passé 2 nuit sous la pluie avec (sans bâche ou tente), je suis resté sec les 2nuits. Wasserdichter Bivaksack
Der Bivaksack ist nicht zu verwechseln mit den geschlossenen Schlafsackhüllen von zB Carinthia. Mit einem Tarp oder Poncho kombiniert bleibt man bei jeder Witterung trocken, der Bivaksack schützt dabei den Körper bis an die Brust. Wer seinen Kopf ebenfalls mit in den Sack packt riskiert zu wenig Luft zu bekommen, wird aber auf jeden Fall viel Feuchtigkeit durch den Atem sammeln.

Thin, cheap nylon, avoid!
This is a cheap and flimsy thin nylon outer. Special Forces? LOL! It couldn’t handle a bed of pine needles or a pine cone. This has to be paired with a robust mattress. There is a membrane on the inside of the nylon of unknown longevity and durability. I would not buy this again, nor would I recommend it.

Great Bivvy bag for cowboy camping
The bivvy bag is well made and light weight compared to the military bivvy bag I am use to. The price is at it's lowest from what I have seen in a long time at $145.63 with tax and delivery. The only issue or design flaw is the draw string at the head of the bag. It does not close properly or easily. I had to pop two new holes and re-route the cord to close it properly and more easily. Once I made that modification the bivvy bag worked fine. The zipper moves easily. I can fit my top quilt into the bag and then slide myself in fairly easy. You can use the bivvy as a floor liner under your air mattress on hot days. The bivvy and stuff sack weigh 332g or 11.7oz. Bivvy stuff sack has a nice design with a Velcro handle to pull out easily from inside your bag or use the Velcro handle to secure the bag on the outside of your pack. Highly recommend this bivvy sack.
