Mens Watches Military Sport Analog Quartz Watch for Men

I have beat the hell out of this watch. I dropped it so many times for one reason or another. The glass actually fell out, and scratched. The watch however never stopped ticking. I was in the field and dropped it on asphault. I was able to snap the glass back in. Even though I bought other versions of this watch, this is still my MAIN everyday watch. Especially when I'm machining, or working with heavy equipment. I looks like a man's man watch. It's comfortable to wear all day. In spite of my nicks, it still looks good when I dress up. It's character. It is not heavy and the dials are easy to read in low light because of the size and indiglo.

GOOD CHEAP WATCH

My husband is military and bought this because it looks like his dad’s watch when he was also in the army. He loves it!

I'm very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this watch for the price paid. I ordered this with low expectations, given that it barely costs more than a fancy cup of coffee these days, and it was much better than I imagined it would be. The dial is nice and clear, with classic field watch design, the case feels decent enough and has a nice finish and the strap is sturdy and reasonably stylish. As other reviews say, this is not a show piece- but it is a well made, cheap watch that still looks nice on the wrist and keeps time. I only deducted a stat for the lack of full water resistance. It would be nice if it could be worn at the pool or beach, but the WR seal is probably not up to that, and not advised by the manufacturer.

I don't leave many reviews, only when something is particularly bad or good. In this case good. I've had this almost 6 months and so far its been reliable and keeps as good time as any of my other watches. I wear this almost every day. It has been durable, no major scratches on the face. I like the look very much, classic field watch design. My only complaint is that it 'flops' over to the side on my wrist constantly. I think it does not quite have the proper shape to form around a wrist. But I replaced the band with a nato strap and this has fixed this only issue. Some give it a bad review because it is not water proof. Due to the low cost, I do not hold that against this watch.

Got this because the HANDS were supposed to be luminescent, but unless you actually touch it TO the sun itself, it's simply not visible in the dark. It keeps fairly good time, the band bites, so I slapped an old Speidel Twist-O-Flex band on it and use it when I'm doing something that I know could cause the watch to break. In other words, it's my go-to watch for the rough stuff and understand it's pretty much disposable. At ten bucks, it's worth it.

This five star review comes with a caveat: I was looking for a bargain field watch that I intended to abuse and, at a deep sale price of $9.99, this is perfect. My everyday watch is a Bertucci A-2T, but I am currently working in a role where things get banged around a bit and titanium cases can show marks. For a work watch, I’m not as concerned about waterproofing or lume, just legibility and price. If you have large wrists, the band on this watch will not work for you. I have a medium sized wrist and am using the third hole from the end, which allows the strap to just fit inside the two retaining straps. My biggest complaint, which may eventually affect the durability, is the crown. It is a two-position crown, which the first position controls the date and the second position the time. It is very difficult to get to the first position, as it wants to jump straight to the time-setting position when you pull it out. The gearing is such that pushing the stem back in can cause the minute hand to jump five to ten minutes unless you’re very careful. As a $10 watch, this is absolutely a five star item. If it cost $20, I would value it at four stars and still be pleased with it. If I paid full price of $30, I would rate it at three stars and would recommend making a different choice for the money. That being said, if you can find it for $10 like I did, you will be very pleased.

I bought this for hubby for an everyday watch, but he hasn't started using it yet as the watch he currently is using, is still keeping time. We shall see when he needs to start using it. Hence the 4 stars for now. Will update once hubby starts to use this watch.
