Great amplifier, easy to use and has a bunch of settings so you can get a lot of different sounds, plenty of distortions, crunchy metal, 50's old goldies sounds, I still have a bunch of setting to try out, I can also setup sounds in a software app that you can download and it works with the amp. Worth the money,

It’s super functional with lots of options, but the free app you can get on your computer really takes this thing to the next level. Any tone sounds amazing on this thing from clean to crunchy distortion, this amp can do it all, and at a great price.

Amazon reminded to review this purchase. I just received this amp, so it's tough to judge it fully. It's working as expected. I'm new to amps, so there is a lot I don't know about it, based on YouTube videos I have watched. I like you can connect both electric and acoustic (electric) guitars to it. I'm initially using it with a Squier Tele, and I like the sound it is producing. I feared the volume level on full or 1/2, but it's not as loud as I imagined, in a good way since I'm using this in a home.

Epic sound, distortion, etc. Worth the money. Pairs well with my Ltd lespaul.

For the money, you get a lot of value. I only use this as a practice amp, however, it can get reasonably loud. The built in effects etc will save a beginner from having to resort to pedals. It can slightly model some amps. The cabinet is open back and the walls are not as thick as an expensive amp, but it is still sturdy. Nice handle, appearance and seems pretty durable if it gets banged around. Lots of options on the rear. No bluetooth, but you can add later, unlike the Positive Grid. But I like them both for different reasons. A great practice or starter amp.

These Katana amps, and I own th 50 Mark 2, and the 100 mark 2, are great multipurpose tools, for a working musician. They are not too heavy, and sound close enough to the amps that are modeled i.e. fender, marshall, etc. that only tone snobs can tell the difference. I bought the 50 watt mark 3. It sounds great too...with one caveat! The direct out feature on these is gone. The usb c works to connect to a pc...but that's it. very disappointed. I discarded the boxes before i found that out, and now I'm stuck with it.

Use this amp daily- a great practice amp and /or small gig venue amp.

Industry standard for a reason. It does everything well. It doesn't do everything amazing. It's a Swiss army knife. It's also stupid that you have to buy the Bluetooth unit seperate to the amp. An obvious cash grab by BOSS. Regardless, for home practice, you'll be stoked.

I was skeptical to be honest as I have always been a tube head. I love my mesa boogie that I had to left on my home country while I'm living abroad. I was looking for an affordable option to get an all-in-one amp that would do most of the job (FX) as I only brought my Gibson SG with me. I have a few BOSS analog pedals that I like, so I thought they would know better how to do it digital and not risking their brand reputation. Guess what?! It is really good! FX are good and easy to set, amp models offering a wide range of organic and warm sound. Mine is the 50W model, same as my Mesa Boogie. It doesn't sound as good and loud, but I knew that would be an unfair comparison as my Mesa costs 5x more. It does sound quite loud and you can definitely use it on stage having it either microphoned or sending out from the amp to a mixer. I haven't checked the previous Katana generations, but I bet this 3rd Gen is the best. For what's worth, I would say there's no better choice on the market to date. I can see a need for a footswitch ($$$) to go through the saved presets when playing with a band. If the footswitch was more affordable, it would be a home run. BOSS nail it!

Llevo 3 meses con el amplificador, y lo recomiendo totalmente, es muy intuitivo, tiene buena fidelidad y potencia, te servira para resentaciones en vivo en salones sin perder calidad y sin llegar a saturar el sonido. Muy buen producto.
