Gorgeous cake stand but I recommend washing by hand, it says dishwasher safe but as mine was running through the cycle I heard the dome break.

This stand looks great on our kitchen counter. There is not much room for the lid to go if you have a tall cake though.

Disappointed in the quality for $50. The glass top is thin, so it feels quite fragile. The base is glued together. Giving 3 stars because it looks nice and is well-designed for being a cake stand or a bowl.

I love the look of this and it is beautiful sitting out all the time. My only complaint is that it is like like an inch too small to fit a full size bundt cake. It fits on the pedestal, but the cover scrapes the sides of the cake. But once you eat a few slices the cover sits on fine.

After three uses, this happened. Last night as we were watching tv in our den off the kitchen, we heard a very loud crack. We both looked at each other in confusion saying maybe that was the ice maker. This morning, I find this large break in the glass only across the top. It made no sense whatsoever. Nothing was touching the glass at the time of the crack- about 30 min after I had cut a slice of the chocolate cake. It was just sitting on the counter as always when it happened. I decided to write this review after discovering the noise from last night. It appears to be very poor quality glass and quite dangerous, too. Thankfully no one was hurt. Very disappointing for the $55 spent.

Do not purchase this item; It comes from China; and the pedestal is off centre. They did not contact me to return my order; and if you try to return this item to China; the shipping costs a minimum of $80......so think twice about ordering!
