Fun and Replayable
In addition to being a fun Star Wars story (or, I suppose, stories), this was a well-crafted Choose Your Own Adventure novel. It wasn't immediately obvious which choices were the best ones, and I had to read it several times to get to a successful conclusion. Even so, I feel like I can still read it several more times, because there were several other paths I never explored. The illustrations are fantastic as well. Very enjoyable!

My whole family loves it
I bought this to read with my son while we were on vacation. My husband and I enjoyed reading it with him. The options are intriguing. We have read "choose your own adventure" books that get boring quickly, but this one has given us a plethora of options to keep us interested.

Great for developing imaginations
Oddly enough my son wasnt getting into Star Wars. This was my last attempt, and SUCCESS!! My 5 year old son LOVES these styles of books. He'll read each sentence word by word, then I ask him what that sentence meant to him. After the paragraph is complete I ask him to explain the paragraph, then when we get to a "decision point" i'll explain the two different options and let him choose. He gets very excited about seeing what happens next and I love seeing him mind working and explaining his thought processes for his decisions.

Fun choose your adventure
This is the second one of the Star Wars series that my son has read. He is in the 7th grade and was looking for an easy read. It actually got him re-interested in reading more mysteries. So since finishing, he's gotten totally into mystery novels, which have been made his "reading minutes" for school a lot more enjoyable.

Must have for kids who love reading and Star Wars!
My 8 year old son is having so much fun reading these. It took him a little bit to get the concept and figure out how to 'win' the book since there are right and wrong choices but he is going crazy reading these!

Really fun read with my kids
Such a fun book. I grew up reading choose your own adventure books and was excited to find this for my Star Wars loving kids. I thought this would be good for my 3rd grader to read on his own but we ended up reading it as a family. We’ve read 3 different stories so far and are having so much fun.

Choose Your Own Star Wars Adventure!
Great modern Choose Your Own Adventure with an awesome Han Solo story within. Not necessarily canon but it's awesome that it has some ties to the Crimson Dawn and the movie Solo a Star Wars story.

Not bad, but not that exciting
I really liked the concept of these books and as a dad-Star Wars fan I had little hesitation to buy all three books in the series instantly. I was planning to present them to my Star Wars obsessed seven-year old son and read through them together.Well, having read it I still quite like the book. But it wasn’t as expected. And my son couldn’t be bothered less and only after repeated persuasion will read parts of it with me, that is, I read the book to him and let him make the choices. So it is somewhat nice, and different. But far from the exciting adventure books based on the same concept that I remember from the 1980’s.The thing is that, yes the book is interactive but actually a bit slow and boring. The reader will have to work through 1 .5 pages of text before a choice needs to be made. On the other hand, since there are different paths in the storyline, it lends itself well to start reading again. The storyline and text is quite straightforward and suitable for young readers. The soft cover book has black and white comic book-style illustrations on every few pages.
