I was hesitant to purchase. Could something so simple really work? But I figured it was worth a try because I was getting tired of constantly taking OTC medicine for my migraines. Now, I've tried all types of things: essential oils, hot showers, ice packs... sometimes they work, other times no. But this little item came today and I had already began to feel a headache coming on so it could not have come at a better time. Not to mention, when I ordered (Thursday evening), I was told it was "backlogged" and I would not receive the item (even though it was a Prime item) in the standard two-day shipping and to expect it Wednesday or Thursday. But it came today (Monday) with a little card stating the reason the Aculief was going to be late in shipping was not because the item was not in stock, but the boxes they came in. So my item was sent without the box with an apology (and an offer to send the box at a later date if I so wished). I mean really, who keeps those boxes anyway. So back to the product, again using it only for the first time today, I did feel relief. It was not uncomfortable to wear at all... I actually found it quite enjoyable. A massage can hurt and only really feels worth it when it is over. This item is not like that. I will probably find myself wearing it throughout the day, just so another migraine will never creep up on me again. Now I do not know if it is due to the size of my hands, which are big, but the item is a bit more difficult to place on my hand than one would think. But once it is on, it is definitely in place. There is no fear of it accidentally falling off. I may come back and update as I use this product more, but having an item work as intended upon first use deemed the necessity to make a quick and honest review.

I suffer from migraines and don't have much luck with medications so when i saw this I HAD to try it. Arrived on time, no damage and a note from the seller. I was surprised when I first took it out of that package since it was hard plastic. After watching the short video I was hoping it was more of a rubber. I had trouble putting it on and believe the plastic is the reason since it's very hard and stiff. Seller mentioned ability to "stretch" it to fit hand but I'm afraid if I "stretch" too much it will snap in half since the middle is where the seam is. Once I got it on, I DID notice relief, but either due to the plastic or my "fat hands" it either slips off or squeezes so hard it literally makes my vein pop up. Although I love the relief it gave my headache, I don't know if I can handle the pain in my hand :-( This is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. If they were able to supply sizes or maybe a more flexible rubber than plastic this would be an amazing product and I would certainly have spares available for work, vehicle, etc.

As the title says, I've suffered from chronic migraines since I was in high school. Now in my late twenties, they've only gotten worse. I've tried nearly everything under the sun and spent hundreds of dollars on things that just never worked for me. So when I saw this, I was really skeptical and thought this would be just another product that I tried with no success. But to my surprise, on my first real use, it helped! Most of my migraines are caused by barometric pressure changes. A few days ago, I felt the beginnings of a migraine coming on (while also suffering from a nasty sinus infection). I remembered I purchased this, and quickly put it on my non-dominant hand while I was at work. Within 15 minutes, I felt a little less pressure in my head, and felt my symptoms start to subside. I was SHOCKED that it actually was helping. I'm not sure if it has something to do with blood flow to the head or what, but somehow, it worked for me. Now granted, this was at the beginning of a migraine attack. I caught it early. And I did end up having a really bad migraine after, but I know that was because of my sinus infection and a result of the very strong antibiotics I was on (that also had side effects of headaches). If this was able to help me even just a little while battling a sinus infection, I know that it can and likely will help when I'm no longer dealing with it. As with anything in life, this may not be for everyone. It may not work for everyone. It's definitely something I would suggest using when you feel a migraine coming on. But it can also be used in conjunction with an abortive medication, or even in place of one if that did not help with your migraine. Anyone who truly suffers from migraines will understand the desire to try a product and hope that it can provide relief. Even if it only helps with one in five migraines, it's still absolutely worth trying!

I've tried just about everything to relieve my headaches, so I was really excited to find a product that claims to provide natural headache relief. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that this product does absolutely nothing to relieve headaches, at least not for me. As a longtime headache sufferer, I am familiar with the LI4 acupressure point, so I didn't have trouble finding where to place Aculief, but the instructions as to how to find the LI4 acupressure point and where exactly to place it could be a lot more clear. It is also very hard to keep on your hand. They say to place it on your non-dominant hand, which is good advice as long as you don't plan on so much as making a fist with that hand the entire time you have the Aculief on. It is described as "wearable acupressure for an active lifestyle," but I couldn't even turn the pages of a book without it shifting out of place, let alone try to wear it at my job, the gym, etc. Additionally, it is EXTREMELY uncomfortable to wear! I have average-sized hands, but within seconds of putting it on, it was extremely uncomfortable to the point of painful to wear. I tried to "stretch it" before putting it on, and I tried sticking it out because I would take hand pain over a headache any day. I left it on for over 3 hours, hoping maybe the hand pain would distract from the headache, but I ended up with nothing to show for it except deep marks on my hand and a still-raging headache. I envy the reviewers who say they can sleep with it on. I wanted this product to work so badly, I really did, but unfortunately it did not do anything for my headaches.

Bought this for a friend that has MAJOR headaches that cause her to have stroke like symptoms. She is on all medicines that she can be on and still gets the headaches. One of her medicines she can only take 2 times in a week so she has to be very careful that her headaches don't get that bad. I wanted to help her with something more natural that could be used anytime and not cause other side effects. We received it on Thursday and I gave it to her on Friday. She wore it all day at work and never got a headache. Over the weekend she started to get a headache and so she put on Aculief and it instantly stopped it from getting worse and made it better with no meds. Today, Monday 3/4/19, she started to get a headache and again, put on Aculief and it stopped it instantly!!!! She is amazed at how well it is working and she loves it. So glad this product is available for people who suffer from severe headaches and migraines. It is made in the USA which is amazing and the customer service is great and they have reached out to me 3 times already to make sure I received it and to see how it was working! Thank you Aculief!!

This is the second Aculief that I’ve had. The first one I lost somewhere because it fell off my hand. At $20 per item that is a lot to loose each time. I do feel like they help with my migraines and anxiety at work but I have to constantly fiddle with it to get it ti stay in place. Which is annoying. I hope I don’t loose this one because then that’s $40 lost. I’m not sure another size would help either. I’ve flipped it on either contouring side to see if that made a difference, however it doesn’t. I suffer from migraines more than 10 days per month and sometimes medicine doesn’t help and is really too strong to use at work. I do carry the Acculief in my scrubs daily and if it pops off while wearing it I try to catch it in my pocket.

This product is truly amazing i bought it due to having really bad headaches and toothpains. & it does the job i had my mom try it and grandma and they LOVED IT so im ording 2 more for them tight now. Only con about it is it does not stay in place its very loose i have to hold it the whole time and squeeze it the whole point is you can do things and it stays on. Mines comes right off i have to hold it in place the whole time. So i just got my order of two for my grandma and mom and wow what a difference i added a picture for you to see no wonder mines falls off and doesnt work as well as it should. Its huge compare to theirs and ive only used mines for 4 hours since i bought it. Its just ashamed that I couldn’t experience what everyone is experiencing due to the fact that mines does stay on my hand 😒 super upset.

Well, this is a cheap piece of plastic worth probably around $1.00. My head aches will not go away without medications, such as, Advil or Excedrin, and sometimes not even using those. So, I spent $19 for a little piece of plastic fully expecting it to have been a waste of money. With each headache, migraine, I've had this has got rid of it within 1 hour, which is as fast as medication would take. Even a tension headache at work from the stress while on the computer I remembered I had it in my pocket and popped it on my hand while working on my computer and a half hour later the headache was gone. Is it worth $19, no not really, it should be around $3 at most considering you can buy high quality metal clamps for under $2 each, but it is worth it for what it does yes, but it's still extremely overpriced. That being said, I lost my first one and ordered a 3 pack the headache relief without drugs is still pretty valuable to me, but I do wish they sold this for a more reasonable price. My biggest worry now is whether it will last and maintain the proper pressure over time and not wear out too quickly, as I get several migraines a week so will be wearing this often. So, is it worth $19 for a piece of plastic, it depends on whether your priorities are, if it's for value of product, no, it's way over priced for what it's made out of, this should be made out of a quality metal for that price. But, for effectiveness and not having to take medication to take out head aches, then yes, it's worth the $19 and far more, not that I would have paid much more for this being made out of plastic as it is. It works, at least for me, I was a cynic about it, and it's portable to keep with you at all times in your pocket, and that makes it worth using. My biggest recommendation would be for it to be made out of a higher quality and long lasting material than cheap plastic, but I would buy another if I lost this one even at its high price.

trage den aculief nun schon seit einiger Zeit, am Anfang hatte ich nach kurzem Ttragen einen bläulich verfärbten Abdruck habe dann 2 Tage pausiert. Jetzt lege ich ihn für 1- 2 Stunden an und wechsle dann die Hand dies hat sich gut bewährt und so kann man ihn ohne Probleme den ganzen Tag tragen. Kopfschmerzen sind weniger geworden und auch nicht mehr so stark. Hatte über einen längeren Zeitpunkt außerdem im handgelenk und Daumen schmerzen so das ich kaum greifen oder etwas heben konnte, diese Schmerzen sind seit dem ich den aculief trage fast vollständig verschwunden

Yes, it feels like it doesn't fit because it is very tight and leaves a fun imprint on your hand. It is a little difficult to work with it on, typing isn't as easy. BUT. This little plastic miracle has saved me from Advil on several occasions. It's great and it works.

Inizialmente scettico, ho acquistato questo Aculief dopo aver letto su internet alcune recensioni positive. Debbo ammettere di essermi dovuto ricredere, perché effettivamente un effetto benefico, per chi soffre di mal di testa da cervicalgia o di emicrania, lo apporta sensibilmente. Dopo averlo indossato, almeno nel mio caso, riesce ad alleviare di almeno un 80/90% il mal di testa già nel giro di 15/20 minuti. Non lo tengo oltre questo tempo, ma già così, una volta ridotto sensibilmente il fastidio, il mal di testa tende ad affievolirsi sempre più fino a sparire rapidamente. Non costa poco, ma nel mio caso il giudizio è positivo!
