When Kirk Hammett first got his hands on a Jazz III pick , he never looked back-its superior speed, precision, and control changed his whole playing experience. Eventually, he took to customizing it himself for even better handling by cutting a V-shape out of the grip. Based on that modification, we created the Kirk Hammett Signature Jazz III Pick so you can keep a regular supply of the same pick Kirk uses on the road and in the studio. Now available in purple sparkle.

Review: Size - This is a quality pick, it's thick enough for fast picking and the bevelled edges help to move across the strings easier, the raised name, cut out, and signature help to grip it, and the colour and sparkles are just a bonus. The downside is the length of the pick, from the centre of the v-cut-out to the tip of the pick measures 20.5mm, which is about 10mm shorter than most quality picks, and this means less pick to grip and more movement when playing, unless you have a very firm grip. Smaller hands will work better with this pick and Kirk Hammet is proof of that, small hands big sound. This is just a heads-up for people with big hands (me) so don't let it put you off buying and trying this excellent pick, and the cut-out does have a stabilizing effect, it stops it from drifting sideways, unlike a flat pick. **Q: Is the size more like a normal jazz iii or a jazz iii xl? also can't seem to find the gauge anywhere. the fact they're purple leads me to assume 1.14?**
A: Yea they are like normal jazz 3s but better grip. They are really comfortable to use. I woukd highly recommend them
